Sita, I just wanted to share this with you. I don't watch other shows, very rare. On one such occasion, the female lead was leaning her head on her father's shoulder and holding his hands and crying. I am not a keen observer but they showed the scene such that we can see the female lead's face and the hand of the father which looked like some dummy hand. So I don't mind if they had used BD for Deepika in that scene.

PS: I avoid seeing the episode if I know beforehand of any such scenes on TV as I watch with my family and obviously I missed SurYa slip and fall episode last week.

b SURYAS slip and fall was such a cute scene
i went gaga...ga..on that scene
that day itself i posted my dreamy and cute comments for that particular scene
but this choli scene ...it was cheap to see that bare back ..and it was not deepika ...so i am happy that they used a DUPE in place of deepika for that scene ...anyways i feel that exposure was not required .
i wud also suggest those members who dont want to believe me to watch this very clear quality vdo by star player ,things will b clear that a dupe was there in that scene http://www.india-forums.com/tv-show/767/diya-aur-baati-hum/video/183927-sandhya-drops-the-sacred-puja-pots.htm

@sita ..saw ur pics and watched video

Yup u prooved its double body.May be they used two persons the other one wearing the same attrire as Deepika wore.

Deepika had only thread and it is on top of her blouse. Suraj tied that string

seems they edited and used morphing tecnique for this scene.

Anyways am happy it is not deepika.

In Rajasthan almost all women who dress in traditional clothes have backless cholis and are tied by ribbons.

Secondly, what is shameful for a husband to tie the strings of a choli at the BACK.

Sorry but I cannot understand or follow or like this trend of thought.

You thought that the scenes of Sooraj falling on top Sandhya were cute and watchable (with or without parents) and a husband helping his wife from an embarrassing situation is uneasy and embarrassing!

I do not mean to be rude or challenge your views but to me it seems rather odd and may be tangential.

agree with u completely,
Back less cholis are not modern day designs , if one happen to go to villages , esp north or so, its the most common fashion there ... its been like that for ages, untill its copied in city lifes...
again i agree, i better watch the husband helping his wift over this rather than falling and end less staring , not that i had seen scene , as i am on break from show , but will watch show from monday ...
i simply hate, u fall i pakado scenes, its utter rubbish, no matte in wat fashion u show it , its forceful and rather lame, a simple close scene which make sense is worth watching
and coming to being comfortable, well no romantic scene is comfortable watchin wih family, be it falling or helping wify ...
than god they did not hav bath room scene yet which is star one's specality

@ Breezy i know that u really dislike those staring and falling scenes
but do watch out for the Sandhya and Suraj falling scene it was completely different when Sandhya was helping out Suraj from jumping the window ...

Pics of the episode of SANDHYA and SURAJ dancing together
though deepikas hair falling at the back ,then too its very clearly visible that its a proper decent blouse with no back lower strings.

and in this scene the upper and only string of the blouse was shown stuck to the door ...while in the back scenes on Body double the lowest string was shown stuck and opened ...

Sita, i used to love eye locks btw surya when it was not beyond 30seconds, where it handle some emotion , be it like hints of love, care, loosing in one self etc some emotion but when its beyond that time limit its more like STARING, thats wat is happening here and i never enjoy this staring where it seems as if they are playing who is going to blink first games...
anyways

Hello ladies

I was in India for past 15 days and just came back. I never wore backless cholis but in wedding saw lots of ladies wearing one. Seeing that I got one and it was fun wearing it. It's common now in India to wear these. I was in central India.

Cheers
