Double whammy for Asin; to star opposite Ranbir, SRK

Mumbai: Good news for Asin fans! The southern beauty has bagged two big projects in Bollywood opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan.

The beautiful actress went through a makeover of sorts for her new film, Sajid Khan's 'Housefull 2' and has been getting oodles of compliments for her new look. And guess, the revamp has helped her bag two very prestigious films!

Speaking to a daily, the actress confirmed the news and said, "I am doing SRK's next. Currently I am focusing on 'Bol Bachchan' and 'Housefull 2'. I am also working with Ranbir in 'Two States'."

Ever since the news of Chetan Bhagat's bestseller getting a celluloid version broke in the industry, speculations have been rife that who would be playing the female lead. The excited Asin said she is happy that she got the part. "I loved the book and agreed to do the film. The film's final script isn't yet ready. I have been planning my look for it in detail, which I will reveal soon," Asin said.

She was also spotted posing for numerous photos with SRK and Riteish Genelia's wedding recently which sparked off another rumour that the two stars may be planning to do a film together.

"Shah Rukh was meant to do 'Two States', but things took a different turn but he has cast me in his next," added Asin

I used to like asin.. But since she went off and lost all this weight .. She doesn't look at that cool anymore 😕

Bebo also had claimed she was in Chennai Express.. Today Deepika claims she is about to sign the film..

i loved asin in ghajini but she failed to excite da viewers afterwards. i really hope these two movies work well for her cuz she's a good yet underrated actress plus she has potential

The collaboration of <font color="#0066cc">Shah Rukh Khan</font> and Rohit Shetty made <font color="#0066cc">Chennai Express</font> one of the 'hottest' films to watch out for. After a short period of indecision regarding the casting of either <font color="#0066cc">Katrina Kaif</font> or <font color="#0066cc">Kareena Kapoor</font> as the leading lady in the film, SRK's RA.One heroine and Rohit's favourite, Bebo had emerged victorious.

In fact, the actress had even said in an interview, "Rohit and I are finalising <font color="#0066cc">the script</font> and other details. Rohit is like family, and I am seriously looking forward to working with him again." However, her enthusiasm regarding the project has been rather short-lived. Mumbai Mirror has learnt that Kareena, once happy to be a part of the project, has excused herself from it. Reason: the generic 'date problems'.

Meanwhile, <font color="#0066cc">Deepika Padukone</font>, who has recently been in the news for leaving <font color="#0066cc">Race 2</font> producer Ramesh Taurani in a mess by walking out of the project midway, has been asked to come on board Chennai Express.

A friend of Kareena, confirmed that the actress is no longer a part of the film and added, "Kareena has already informed Rohit Shetty that she wouldn't be able to work in Chennai Express. SRK is aware of it as well."

As for Deepika's inclusion in the Rohit Shetty film, a source close to the project said, "Deepika has given her nod of consent. The official signing should happen soon."

why do u think she is not good for bollywood? It looks like Salman,Aamir,Akshay and SRK don't share ur opinion.
