why does aks carry the baby always & come to eat?its so uncomfortable

why are nt they giving her food in the room? she is climbing the steps all the time, gay is making a fuss telling aks needs to rest after delivery so why arent they giving her food in the room?

or else they can keep a cot for the baby downstairs also, he is not running away anywhere now, he can lie there peacefully while his mother has food?

I was thinking the same thing. I have 2 girls and my younger one is just 4 months now and never have I sat to eat my food holding my kids ..firstly its unhygenic as the food might drop on the baby. and newborns need to feed and they pretty much sleep thru for 16 hrs. and here she is not letting the baby sleep constantly holding him. even the other day she was holding him put him down to talk to varsha ont eh phone and then picked him up again. on one hand she says he ia awake at night and sleeps the whole day then why is she holding him always during the day . Also she is not in a nuclear family. She has so much help around. If not her MIL or any family member she can def give the child to girija while she eats.
