Arnav's put downs are merely self defense tactics to protect himself from himself. He knows he is quickly and irreversibly fallling in love with khushi. He cannot fathom or reason why he would feel this draw for a girl who is the exact opposite of all that he believes and worships. Its as if this girl felt nothing after Diwali and has no idea what the Diwali pool incident meant. This is a MAJOR FLAW in the script. They have to show her inner dialog and conversation. Without those scenes, you and I have no choice but to think that Khushi has zero realization. And without her realization, how can there be a love story.

Exactly serialjunkie..Arnav is not finding any reason to hate her..To me thats also making him to move towards her closer and closer.

"I loved the dialogue when he said "agar kismat ne saath nahi diya too.." I soo wanted Khuahi to respond "Mein karma mein viswas karti hun. I dont depend on luck. Eventhough lets say luck will play the card but from inside i will know that i did my best." I thought ASR was making her learn the truth of life that eventhough everything is against u, will she able to stand?? He has already passed that exams. He wants his wife also to be like him. HE HAS SEEN THAT GUTS AND SPARK IN KHUSHI THAT IS WHAT APLEAING TO HIM.
HE KNOWS HER INSIDE OUT. HER EACH EYE MOVEMENT, GESTURE, REACTION, RESPONSE, FUTURE PLAN, PREDICTIONS..EVERYTHING OUR LOVER BOY KNOWS ABOUT HER..
Khushi also knows him more than anyone in his family. Anjali has failed big time ..sorry anjali is a fool.
He loves her the way she is. His Love is unconditional at this point.
I am very interested at the point ...at what level their eternal love will go when Shyam's truth is out. Cvs r keeping this a very secret.

What can I say, u were just bang on..AGAIN😉😆

Well I feel the love was always there from Khushi's side but before she could realize that love ASR himself closed that door for her(Diwali Night)😳 after the Diwali night incidence she has buried all those tender feelings so deeply as a defense mechanism that now she is totally oblivious to those feelings..

I am feeling even Arnav is coming to realize this...and it really bugs his a lot to see Khushi running from her feelings...for instance the eye-lock that followed by the "Chodo tum seh nahin paaogi"😳...it was Khushi who stepped back from watever was happening and it really irked Arnav a lot...so again as a defense he went back to his usual "U don't matter to me"!!!😆😉

N u are so right...there was a physical awareness in her eyes when Arnav was coming near her😳...I for one was real glad to see it and was like "Finally...and abt time"

Finally our jalli jalebi bai is blossoming into a WOMAN!!!⭐️ coz if she has to handle Arnav who is a MAN thorough and through😉 she has to come out of her childish antics😉😆

@Su: Liked your post; I felt whenever Khushi is in forced to close proximity with Arnav, she shows these emotions (not hurt) esp. the last few scenes. (sah nahi paoege, yesterday etc, also that Rabba ve during the dance practice.); Good to see this back;

Certainly think there should have been self reflecting moments for Khushi after La's exit, to show the state of her feelings; Might have better understood her ice-maiden act after Payash wedding track started.

The towel incident and few others felt flat because Arnav did'nt push her into proximity but retreated; But the last couple of scenes suggest that Arnav knows exactly how to get her there 😊

We have very well understood that Arnav has passion and love for Khushi from his behavior and specially from his eyes. But we are still confused about Khushis feelings.

Yes, I know by heart all those reasons why she is controlling herself after diwali . Please do not repeat those reasons.
But we, at least , I want to see that desire , that fire in khushis eyes . As a woman I want to feel the woman's love that is budding in Khushis heart . That makes her cringe when touched any other man but she easily touches him and gets close to Arnav without a second thought as if it is very natural for her .
For once, I would like her to forget the social side and the self respect and everything and want Khushi to love Arnav - insanely and unconditionally .

i thkn khushi is well on her way... when she asked him y he was the way he is at new years ... to me that spoke volumes abt her interest in him. i mean y else bother to ask the question. and to top it off she earnestly asked what is it that she was lacking in understanding him? i think arnav just needs to but give a reason. i have also noticed the change in khushi (and even in arnav) where she is falling back into an ease with arnav. signaling him in front of the whole family.. nowadays all her sentences have to do with him. i think the cv's are listening and the spark between them is coming back... really hopeful for next week.

I would have to disagree on this. young people are usually impressionable and while parents and close family play a v important role in learning theri values, exposure to the larger environment does form impressions that are pretty strong and define their world view. there are more than enough excellent research papers on this - the role of popular media on value systems. hence the corelation between the economy, polity with the arts and from the arts into society.

Serials like IPKKND should and must be mindful of the messaging they send. I know it is easy as a viewer for me to demand the moon from the CVs - to write an intelligent story, with values that are strong and progressive to an audience that is v diverse in location, sensibliities, attitude and age. they have an awesome platform to change popular sentiment.

But heck, I am giving my emotion and time to this serial and I will demand anyway. Great authors have done this in the past and they should be unhindered and be bold and do it too.
