well, i'm a mother-i dont slap my daughter...i hate violence!!! i have enough faith in her and if i dont understand what she's upto i trust her enough to come and tell me in her own good time and i'll think there must be some good reason in doing whatever she's doing...i raised her...and if i havent seen any fault in her till date...then its likely that she wont do anything to harm others knowingly...that much i know her!! i'm sure when Garima finds out the truth cvs will make them apologise...

i was just angry at cvs for making her slap like that in front of all those people...but then they were saving ASR's image and they were consoling viewers by telling them he's not that bad after all , see-he still loves her...i got the message loud and clear..i simply didn tlike the fact that Garima raised her hand publicly or otherwise...but like i said, its only a drama and i understand what cvs were trying to show...i didnt know you or the other viewers actually support that slap, i wrote the above comment while still watch the serial and it was written in heat of the moment...if i've offended you or the other ASR fans for that matter, i apologise! period.

Having said all the above things, i'll keep watching the drama to see how it progresses because like you guys i love the couple too...and they do act well...

love and peace,
xx

Some hope you have about Garima apologising. Did they apologise to her when they found out about Shyam?

Ermmm they are a very simple middle-class family, mothers slapping daughters especially for reason of elopement is quite common.not justified but common.
If we are bringing real life situations her then i think everyone is aware of the "honor-killings" rampant in India.

yeah that slap gave me a real shock and maybe thats why i couldnt enjoy arnav's reaction (which has been admired/praised by so many) to that slap..but i know what you mean though, i cant just close my eyes to the real life in some part of india...

Thanks for replying:)
