There was a thought provoking post made yesterday by Purple, I just wanted to post my comments here because I have no mood of making sense of today's episode.These are few replies to that post.So it might seem to be disconnected in thoughts.
Nobody can even fathom what kind of situation this is.Even though this is a work of fiction,it makes us feel for Khushi's character. No girl should go through all she has been through. We have no idea what happened in her past but her present has not been rosy at all.Collateral damage in any form is often under-rated.Rarely do we give it enough thought.The blame often comes on girl's shoulders. No wonder parents think of their daughter as a burden.
Often we tend to listen and think the way we want to.Love has alluded ASR this long so,for him to blame Khushi is easy. A good businessman sees both side of the coin. He should have definitely confronted Khushi with the intention of knowing the truth.We don't know what is in store for us in future.Maybe ASR does force himself on Khushi.We have seen it happen on TV before in case of Pratham and Gauri,Maybe it might happen here.But Hope not.
ASR had a traumatic past ..But who told you Khushi didn't ? She could be cruel too since she had a traumatic past too.Like ASR she lost her parents. Like ASR ,she has a loving sister. Yet why the difference in their attitude? We don't know anything about their past .do we now?So why always bring only ASR's past to defend him .
How can you say Khushi is not a puppet when he didn't even bother to ask her what happened between Shyam and khushi. Why didn't he ask her about the mixed signals he was giving her and she reciprocating it , even though she was with Shyam?Why did she do this to him? He went ahead and blackmailed her with Payal's marriage. He doesn't know about love or trust but being a businessman, How about keeping his bargain about Payal's marriage.How can he blackmail a girl into getting married/living with him? Why not say,this is what i saw on the terrace do you have an explanation? He said he had brain to think..why didn't he put 2 and 2 together to realize that Shyam was the tenant and Khushi's ex-fiancee? Why didn't he think why Khushi broke the engagement?? Yes Khushi has been manipulated into doing things against her wishes by ASR.
N yes I don't know what they spoke during the wedding but ASR is forcing Khushi to do something against her will.Blackmailing her with her sister's happiness. ASR might love Khushi but he can't take away the dreams a girl has for her marriage.
And even if he learns to love and trust Khushi after what he made her endure..He will be falling for a different khushi.Not the carefree type but a empty soul ripped of all her virtuousness.She will be so battered that she might be like ASR. Its hypocritical to even think that ASR hurting Khushi will make him love and trust her but what about her will she be able to love and trust ever so easily again?
At this day and age i didn't wanted to say women are weaker than men per se but what you said is totally right. If ASR wanted to pick a fight ..why against the weaker one than the stronger one. Fight with someone your own size..ie Shyam..Y leave him Scot-free and aim at indirectly hurting him via Khushi?? ..Y not Directly hurt him ?
If he thought hurting Shyam would hurt Anjali ..what about khushi?? She is hurting with no fault of hers. She wanted to tell the truth to anjali but the way anjali reacted to falling Mangalsutra was enough to scare her. Her family didn't have guts to tell the R family. ASR tried to tell Anjali but she fainted and after that he doesn't have the courage to tell her . SO how can it be only Khushi's fault when no ones was able to tell Anjali.
But why is it easy for ASR to take revenge and plot against his so called love ,within minutes .But acknowledging his love to her took over 8 months?? 😆...He can wait to think about love but not give it a benefit of doubt and confirm it with her? All I want is that Khushi should know of ASR's true intention before anything drastic happens ..But by the look of it she us completely unaware of the turmoil in ASR's head.
I want ASR to use his brains to think hard Y would a girl like khushi fall for a married man and ruin a marriage?Is she like that ...NO..
For ppl who are saying they are doing it for their siblings. Its right but still ASR is picking a wrong way of hurting Shyam. Shyam is enjoying whereas Khushi will be suffering at the hands of ASR,Shyam, maybe Raizadas(Mami's taunts), Guptas(Buas taunts) too if they are against the marriage. Along with that she has the huge burden of being in love with ASR. What about ASR.He is hurting in love. But other than that what is he going to suffer. Who is going to say anything to him????All his anger towards shyam will be redirected at Khushi.
I have been annoyed senseless by khushi's childish antics but they seem harmless compared to her fate now. Today was the epitome of helplessness an orphan girl can endure just to get some love. Love of her sister,her family,her man.If she would have rejected , would Akash have stood up for his to be wife and gone ahead with the marriage??? NO.
Its left a bitter taste in my mouth reading ppl 's posts loving the revenge plotted by the devious and dashing ASR whereas he could have easily plotted a devious and vengeful plan to take down his brother in law.
Abuse(physical,Emotional) is never a good thing be it at the hand of anyone...Your parents,husband/partner, in-laws,friends...
From Friday episode..Are ASR's angry looks enough when someone slaps Khushi???
Y couldn't he say it was my decision to get married and Khushi went along with it .We love each other and you all wanted me to get married.End of the matter.(Just for the sake of the families)
Its funny that the Indian TV would still continue to mint money showing the suffering of women when they have the power to show something positive.
P.S: I wrote all this yesterday. After seeing tonight's episode,I have so much to say but really why get worked up? This is really Star Plus show after all. And if you don't see my posts for few days, that means I am rejuvenating my sense of humor somewhere. This show just sucked it out of my body..😆
