^^ Yeh? Kay, I'm gonna give it a shot over the weekend I guess. I like myth/period dramas in general... so! I need to get some back research on the whole concept though - I've no remote BG on Mahadev's history in Hindu myth.

Manasi with MB would again be the same kind of storyline which now I'm convinced that MB can't pull off...what is up with these ppl being UNCOMFORTABLE with showing MATURE romance? Seriously they need to grow up.

Sooo, I didn't follow KTLK for even half the time you did - cause I took off on that holiday and quit on it even before that! - and don't know about this MB getting discomfited with his role deal... but honestly, I would pin down at least a part of it to Kritika-MB pairing... In retrospect, they never really had that click off screen to manage to pull off something so off-norm onscreen. Neil and Manasi were in a very contemporary sense, and as senior and junior artists of the industry, quite a fit for the GK roles onscreen. Like watching them off screen, always came off quite like GK, minus all the gore and angst - Manasi was compulsively patronizing šŸ˜† and Neil was the self-confessed "learner" who would humour and tease in equal parts. Halley too was SO Talli, even in ofscreen interactions with Neil and Manasi ... they all fit the shoes, and it showed onscreen.

For that matter - much as BALH has long gone off track - if they were ever on track - Sakshi and Ram, for as long as I watched, were quite suited to their kind of bond portrayal onscreen.

I really think someone like MB and Manasi could have done KLTK better. Now in retrospect ofc - I seemed to have Kritika would grow in the space of her role back in the day - somewhere I think Neil made it look easy. Cause when I compare him from his first to last shot as Kesar, he grew in leaps! And like we've often said, he was never bad to begin with, but he greatly grew with his exposure and role in such a show, on such a set. Kritika too had not seemed entirely unpromising to begin with - but I guess she didn't really have anyone to pull her up like Neil did, or partly, she wasn't as striving to grow with each shot, as Neil did. I dunno - I really did think she would have evolved with time, but it seems she has pulled down MB with herself... if he's coming off as discomfited in his role now...

ps: I recently heard from someone that MB is yesteryear actress Nutan's son?! 😲 I never had a clue... if it's true ofc...

Technically there hasn't been a really mature romance show executed so far. I'm really hoping NBT will set that record straight... and over the weekend I might give the new Mona Singh show a watch too... More for her, than for the theme of the show... Although like someone else said, I wasn't such a fan of Jassi, but I do like watching her onscreen in general...

Wahi and Kritika can wait to land their own "youth" show which doesn't require much acting and only "hawtness"...this show is pathetic anyways.

*ahem* No comments...?! šŸ˜†

Loved his thoughts... So mature of him. The Indian Industry needs a revolution big time. Gulaal was literally a miracle. I still can't believe that such a show was made that was actually not stereotypical and had a good crisp script that didn't change with the response of the audience. I loved loved how the directors stuck to what they had decided and didnt change it when the show didnt garner enough TRP's. Indian TV desparately needs a good script and better direction. word to those thoughts of his. And I wouldnt mind the concept of seasons because seasons give you time to explore and work on an effective script as it would help them in sticking to it. Also the actors would get some time to relax as well and not appear tired in most of the scenes. I really want him to come back with a really really good show and that to soon although it seems tough considering the kind of shows that are coming out these days. Still wish him all the very best and I hope he accomplishes his dreams of becoming a Director and that too a very good one! and he looks really cute as well šŸ˜› šŸ˜ *sigh* i miss him! šŸ˜’
