Hrithik Roshan as Shiva?

Karan Johar is adapting Amish's The Immortals Of Meluha for the big screen. The producer begins casting for the project soon.

Sources reveal that even though he's open to suggestions, KJo's heart is set on Hrithik Roshan. He feels that no other actor will do justice to the role. A source reveals, "Everyone at Dharma feels that Hrithik would be the perfect Shiva. The role requires someone who not only looks good, but is also a terrific actor. They have already shorlisted his name for the casting and will make a decision soon." After Shiva, the production house will focus on casting for the role of Parvati. Priyanka Chopra is reportedly one of the frontrunners.

Didn't I tell, this is what K-Jo's gonna pay for agreeing to save his good friend's career. I won't be amazed if she signs two more flicks with Dharma. 😃

I've read the two books released in Shiva series.Hrithik is undoubtedly a perfect casting but Priyanka definitely will not suit the role of Sati.

Vidya would be a more appropriate choice BUT the role requires little dancing... so dunno... vidya will have to work on that bit i guess.
