The episode opened predictably with Anjali announcing about her pregnancy , leaving Arnav shell shocked , Shyam triumphantly vindictive ... Anjali rhapsodies about how her wish, her desire has been fulfilled at last, how she is the lucky one , she has got a loving husband, a caring, protective brother and a new toy to play with .. Her cup of joy runneth over ..under that joy ,Arnav is tongue tied, His resolve dissolves, He watches stymied as his Brother in Law plays on Anjali's emotions..Loathing and disgust in his eyes !!
Here I must say that Abhaas was notches better than Barun ..The quick way Shyam enters the room, looks quickly down at Anjali's tear stained face , at the grim face of Arnav..Gulps down as he swiftly begins to ready his defense only for him to be knocked down in surprise at the unexpected ..quickly assimilating the significance of this piece of news and his slow smile of triumph, his humiliating nod at Arnav..Shyam was superb ...so was the appearing/disappearing emotions [ Anger, ruthless anger vs arrogance ] of the two men as and when Anjali turns or shows her back ...What grabbed my attention was one particular shot ...Shyam enters the room stands by the door.. Arnav stands like a protective barrier behind whom Anjali is standing..THEN Anjali out of her own volition walks past Arnav TOWARDS Shyam... An indicator perhaps that Anjali in her desperate bid to keep her illusory world intact may choose not to believe Arnav n side with Shyam only eventually to come back to Arnav..A Arnav who receives her with open arms and enfolds her back in his protective embrace again..

Overcome with uncontrollable emotions, not finding a safe haven for releasing his pent up agony, his shock , Arnav drives away to a secluded spot ..unable to sit nor stand still weighed down by the betrayals..Arnav walks up and down, The embers of bitter memories burning him, the coals of betrayal incinerating him..Memories past & present assail him , the pain which was receding , renews, regenerates and comes back strengthened manifold... The helpless slap he gives on the bonnet of his vehicle is insufficient.. his pain is more brutal, his anguish is more torturous as his past comes up into the present time, In the vice like Grip of the excruciating past or is it the present for his despair , his wretchedness , his angst has blurred the timelines ..the past merges with the present , The young man becomes the boy !! ...out of this nightmarish chaos of torment, an afflicted voice full of pain cries out into the silent dark night... A primal scream of despair..A misery that no words can address !!..The Scream, presaging death !! ..death of innocence, death of trust, death of compassion, Death of Love !! ...remembrance of those precious, treasured moments of love runs by in front of his eyes , Tears of humanity flows out of his soul as he turns to shell again..The fledgling who was discovering the colors of life , who was opening his eyes and seeing the vibrant world, who was flexing his newly sprouted wings to fly and explore the kingdom of love is mercilessly killed by the harsh sun of betrayal, deceit, misunderstanding ..The Mighty Titan bows down weighed by the realities , weakened as the finer feelings begins to freeze up again , he stays bogged down but not for long , not for long... from the Ashes of Arnav, ASR rises again..yes !! Lucifer rises from the darkness !!
An awesome and flawless performance by BarunSobti ..TBH when Barun first started to pace around, I was inextricably reminded of the accident scene and I was ..OH NO..How boring and repetitive ..but then he picked up..his performance just became sublime and when the tears rolled down..I was astounded ...The anguish felt so real , so touching...One of Sobti's best performance ...Kudos to the director and editing team for cleverly blending the FB scenes and enhancing the effect..Kudos also to the thought process that went into getting Arnav to sit on the road , all beaten ..for he was a man who never , howsoever tired sat down , much less on the road but today he did .. That one action clearly underlined how broken he was , highlighted the tragedy that befell him..

ASR returns, looking composed while his molten eyes spits fire at Khushi ...A perplexed Khushi who once again has made a poor decision based on heart !!A decision that will bring more misery to all..NK provides an avenue for Khushi to come clean but Khushi abdicates it and that little chance is lost .. ASR watches intently the by play between Khushi and Shyam, mistakenly assumes it as Guilt/treachery..His lips curl in contempt while his eyes can only emit hate at a girl who was his world few mins ago.
SI really has to brush up fast for she was found wanting in many sequences or should I say her reactions sent confusing signals ..Her confusion, her anxiety when she sees Arnav was alright but her reactions vis Anjali/Shyam was not right , Abha parmar had correct reactions !!
