Episode starts with Abhay in the hospital, with the doctor saying he has called in the best neurosurgeon, Dr Arjun Singh for him. Abhay says, let the best be the best. My treatment is so difficult, it will malign his name if he can't treat me. A tear rolling down his cheek, he wonders how he will tell Phulwa everything, how would she be able to hear all of it.
At home, Gauri sees Phulwa cooking in the kitchen. She tells her she is cooking for Abhay. Gauri tells her to go dress up instead while she makes the food.

She comes out of the bed after showering and sees Abhay's photo on the bedside table. The song in the SBB segment starts playing in the background as she picks up his photo. She sits in front of the mirror and sets his photo down, smiling to herself as she continues to wipe her hair dry. Suddenly a hand reaches out and holds on to her shoulders. Abhay gets down next to her and slowly raises his head to put it next to hers, both smiling into the mirror. He playfully knocks into her hair as she sharmaos away. Opening her eyes, she smiles thinking it was just her imagination.
She flops down onto the bed, opening up her arms and smiling as rose petals keep dropping all over her. Abhay lies down on his side next to her, his hand propping up his face as he looks at her and smiles. (Stop looking so good and doing everything in such slo-mo it's making me more breathless than your already-giddy wife!!) She simply looks back and beams happily at him. He slowly moves his hand over hers as she closes her eyes. Opening her eyes, she realises he isn't there and gets up, moving her hair over to her right and softly giggling to herself.
Getting back up, she finds him holding onto her shoulders as she slowly turns around to face him (his hand slowly tracing across her back). He starts to smile and they hug each other. ***aaah girly scream****
His hands cup her face, with their eyes close their faces inch closer, and closer...only for her to open her eyes and realise she was simply holding on to his photo (it was so cute though - loved it loved it! 😍).
She picks up her bangles to put them on but remembering Thakur's words, she takes them off again. She tells herself it's ok, his most wanted ornament of hers is her smile.
Downstairs she leaves her jewellery at the feet of the idol, looking back at her mangalsutra and remembering Abhay putting it on during their wedding. She says she doesn't have the courage to wear it, but is confident leaving it at the temple will keep it safe. She sees the sindoor ki container and picks it up. She continues saying that she might have removed her jewellery yet she has been given the most powerful sign of her marriage. From today, her sindoor will be her jewellery and shringar. As she gets up, she sees Thakurayn, Gauri and dadi there. Dadi asks her why on earth has she removed all her jewellery. She asks what does Phulwa want to prove by removing her mangalsutra despite being married. She reminds her Abhay is still alive and her mangalsutra must still be on. Thakurayn starts to fret and dadi realises Thakur must have had something to do with it. Thakur appears at back of the living room, observing all of them. Phulwa tells Thakurayn she should cry of joy, not sorrow. They should be happy for Abhay. She tells dadi anyone can steal a woman's jewellery but not her suhaag ki nishaani. She tells her Abhay himself will maang bhaaro her. Thakur simply looks on as the others bless her. Thakur laughs to himself, saying she will definitely be shocked at what she sees.
Phulwa walks into the hospital with his food. Abhay is desperately asking the doctor to do something before Phulwa gets to find out about his condition. He asks for sleeping tablets as he cannot see her suffer. Doctor asks does he think this is right. Abhay says he doesn't want to see her suffer but doctor says she has to find out. Abhay says she will definitely find out and before he can say anything, she appears at the door saying she's brought him food. (LOL his manpasand aloo and puri). Neither Abhay nor the doctor says anything as Abhay looks on apprehensively. Phulwa continues saying she knows how he loves hot food and tells him to quickly get up and eat. Abhay tells her he'd prefer it if she fed him herself. He starts to tear as she feeds him a bite and she wonders what has happened. She tells him to quickly eat up. He tells her he only wanted to be fed by her. She agrees, on one condition.
(lol the doc's been there the whole time just silently watching) He says he'll feel lucky if he can do anything for her. She picks up the sindoor container, walks over and shows it to him. He looks kinda mortified. She tells him to fill her maang with his hands, and both him and the doctor look shocked. She tells him it's a wife's happiness that can only be fulfilled by her husband's hands. After dreaming of this moment, she doesn't want to let her happiness go. He simply stares at the container and tears. She picks up his right hand and ask him to do so. As she lets go of his arm, it just drops down and she looks back at him appalled.
Precap: She's asking the doctor what has happened, as Abhay cries on the bed and she drops the container when doc explains.
