Executive producer Julie Plec says the show will shock even the most devoted fans ' which brother do YOU think will win Elena's heart?

The Vampire Diaries is one of the wildest shows on TV, and the action is driven by the steamy love triangle between Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder. But one executive producer says to expect the unexpected this season in the quest for Elena's heart!

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Julie Plec says the love triangle will soon come to a head.

"[Damon and Elena] have got some tension that they've got to work through as we get deeper into the season," she says. "Elena is ultimately in the position of asking herself, 'How do I feel about each of these brothers, and who do I want to be with?'"

Think it should b stefan! Delena nice but was always meant to b stefan!

Elena needs to stop being so confused 😆 i think its pretty easy to choose:P its Damon ;) hes always been there for her no matter what , and if its an unexpected end, then it has to be Damon , and also coz everyone thinks stefan elena will be endgame, but who knows it might just be damon elena as the endgame :-)

I love Delena, no doubt about that... but I think it should end with Stelena.

no1 wud blv me...,.from the pilot episode i felt a spark between them...be it making fun of each othr...Damon acts really stupid at tyms...but thn evn they deserve each othr...nd no doubt we luv damon more than elena...bcoz f his sufferings...he gained luv of all of us...
