What happened to Kunal's credentials? Kunal the Lawyer we were all waiting to see
Throughout Parichay serial, we have been constantly reminded by different characters including Thakral himself about Kunal being a smart intelligent witty lawyer. We also know him as gold medalist lawyer and best student of his times where other students look to him by example [ remember that police inspector who was his schoolmate]
He is the only one who has defeated Thakral twice and Thakral himself is shown to be scared of dealing with him including this current rape track.
But as of yet other than Rohit-Nisha case faceoff with Thakral, we have not really seen the Kunal we are being told off and are eagerly awaiting to see faceoff with Thakral.
Even in Nisha's case, Kunal won thanks to Siddhi getting the CD on time.
Otherwise our very smart intelligent lawyer could not figure out how the CD disappeared [ that his own sister did it] , made no attempts to get a new CD made from the shop, lost his witnesses on day of hearing etc.
We all know he could not figure out Vineet- Ritcha conspiracy either which led to this current rape track.
Even now he has not been shown to be thinking about why all this could have happened including why did that girl refuse to say the truth in front of Vineet/Ritcha[ that his own assistant was bribed etc].
Now this current rape case.
Instead of listening to his wife's POV or trying to think through [ knowing Thakral], he just growls on his own family for not trusting him [ we know he has ego/attitude problems and that needs to be corrected if he has to be successful].
Based on the info. we have, he is not able to defend himself on this serious false incorrect allegation and hopefully his wife bails him out.
This current case would have been the best case for Kunal to make a comeback. For his credentials with all his intellect he could have been shown to fight for the truth and make thakral's lose their face.
Even if he loses all his cases for others in future, he winning his own case would have been a golden mark on his CV. Whom would he win against? Best lawyer in India whose daughter has falsely accused him off.
CV's , what happened to Kunal's credentials we are reminded of every now and then?
Did he lose his touch 5 yrs back when he fell off with Thakral?
Is he only reduced to like a wounded growling lion who can only growl but cannot do much damage?
Parichay was supposed to be a male oriented show centred around Kunal and his principles/truthfulness/values.
But CV's would show Siddhi to fight for him and win it as way to get Sinal closer. Thereby having a black mark on Kunal's CV, no matter what whether he makes a comeback and wins cases against Thakral.
Are we on the path to lose respect for Kunal's character which is what this show was about?
