She's in fact hurt that for her son, his wife has come to mean so much that he has started ignoring his mother/ barely recognizing her efforts in bringing him up!

Good point, Dhabu. I want everyone to leave Gohem alone even if they mean well. We are thankful to Kokila for bringing Gopi her closer to Aham and helping Aham realize Gopi's worth. Now, her work is done and she should let Aham take over from here.
