Nupur was lying in her bedroom, still in a daze after the most beautiful moment of her life. He had kissed her - for a moment she frowned remembering what happened afterwards, but she wasn't going to let that weak argument that his own eyes weren't supporting, ruin the most beautiful feeling of the world, the feeling of being in love.
Yes she was in love, and the way the acceptance made her heart glow with a warmth, made her realize she was experiencing the most beautiful emotion- love..
The shy butterfly inside her, was opening her wings wide, about to fly off.. to fly to that flower and embed herself in the flower's petals forever..
Another frown scarred her face and lying down hugging the pillow she remembered mayank's reaction.. she knew he hadn't mean it .. how could he mean that it was a mistake when he had kissed her without any inhibitions and with all his heart.. no it couldn't be.. he had kissed her with the wantonness that assured her that he indeed wanted to kiss her.. no it wasn't a mistake'
Turning on the other side, still hugging the pillow she now wondered what will be the course of their relation ahead? She wasn't going to let him feel guilty for what they shared and ignore his own heart's desire by tagging it as a mistake.. no she won't let him.. And well, grinning she remembered she had already started it.. remembering the way she had kissed him twice and the way his eyes had filled with longing, she knew, he won't be able to fight his feelings for her for very long' no she won't let him..
And with determination in her eyes and a smile playing on her face, she called Gunjan, because she knew if one person would be all in to help her get her love, it was her best friend.

"mayank! Kya hua hai bataye ga bhe?"
Samrat asked this for the tenth time and was granted with the same irritating look.
"Samrat kuch nahe hua.. and now leave me alone, mujhe parhna hai!"
left with no other choice, Sam knew he would have to take her name because even if Mayank wasn't interested in talking Sam very well knew what had happened.. he hadn't missed the change in Mayank when he had returned from his village' for the first time in spite of all his determination to not show it, Sam had seen the excitement Mayank felt at meeting Nupur but since he had arrived back form tuition, he seems dejected.. for some reason his temper was rising every minute and although usually Sam would make sure he is as far away from Mayank as he can manage when he is in one of these moods but tonight he knew he would have to speak up, " so its about Nupur right?"
Mayank looked up and glared at Sam with his jaw clenched and Sam almost backed off , when Mayank replied, " han! Use ke mutaliq hai! khush?"
He stood up and crossed the room to move beside the open window, leaving Sam in a shock and wondering whether he should proceed or leave Mayank alone..
Finally he decided on a mid way and left the room, only to return a few minutes later with two cups of coffee and offered one to Mayank standing beside him only to be greeted by cool breeze..
Sam: " so we talk or we act as if nothing have changed?"
Mayank (sighing and sipping coffee) "it would be lie to say nothing changed when suddenly I feel as if everything has changed'"
Sam: " and its related to that girl who is supposed to be ur student but is turning into something else right?"
Mayank just nodded his head but didn't reply'
For God's sake what could he reply with? He had kissed Nupur Bushan and try as he might he CANT REGRET IT! just as Nupur said it was the most beautiful feeling of his life and try as he might he couldn't just tag it as a mistake and hide it somewhere in some not so frequently touched folder of his mind.. no he cant..
Sam: " if I am only going to get this nod that I think I am obliged to continue the discussion?"
Mayank: " as if u wont if I refuse to cooperate.."
Sam grinned and placed his hand on Mayank's shoulder.. they both have never shared any heart to heart conversations friendship but still they both have spent last few years as room mates and have seen each other go through many things silently offering support, just the way Sam was doing right now.
Sam: " so, what happened today?"
He was sure mayank wasn't going to answer and received second shock of the evening when he replied, "we kissed'"
Sam tried to say something but words never left his mouth.. coughing and clearing his throat he finally managed, " oh.."
Mayank : " i have shocked u I see.. but trust me I have shocked myself more.. I actually kissed a girl who is supposed to be my student.."
Sam: " now wait here! I very well know u and u wouldn't have done that by force.. she.."
Mayank: " I need a walk.."
Placing the cup away he left Sam alone, staring at mayank's back '

it was half an hour later and Mayank was still roaming around his hostel uselessly' he was shocked by what had happened that evening but that wasn't all, he was worried about what he will do ahead.. how will he ever manage carrying on with this tuition when he had just kissed her and would give anything to kiss her again.. but that was wrong.. how could he do this to that girl? How could he fall so low?
No ! if it was about him alone, that was a different matter, but it was about her.. her reputation and her feelings' above all it was about Mr Bushan's trust on him'
The problem was he didn't know how to act indifferent after all this happened.. things have definitely changed and now he will have to move on with this change evident in their relation.. he will have to bear her love filled glances and still act indifferent because if he doesn't then how will he ever justify the relation? Besides he would never go for an affair with her and if not that then what has he to offer to a princess like herself? Nothing.. nothing at all'

By the time he reached back to his room, Sam was asleep and Mayank was still not sure about how he will be able to go to Bushan mansion tomorrow.. nor was he sure of how he will face Nupur' but one thing he knew for sure was that he couldn't ruin her reputation by kissing her during classes'
However inspite of all his resolve, mayank dreamt of Nupur, and in the world of dreams where he was free of all inhibitions, he was with Nupur'
