Acting was my first love-- Sandit

Sandit Kumar, the lead actor in Mi Aaji Aur Saheb, was destined to be an actor. After studying engineering, Sandit veered his life into television due to his love for acting. He admits that it was his love for the art and a little bit of good fortune that lured him towards television.

Playing the role of Saheb in Mi Aaji Aur Saheb, that explores the essence of relationships between a grandmother, her grandchild and their Saheb, Sandit admits that he loves every minute of being on television. "My parents get calls from their friends and acquaintances saying they have seen me on TV. It makes them really happy and that in turn makes it worth my while," he says. Sandit, originally from Chandigarh, came to Mumbai a year ago. "My parents wanted me to take up engineering which I did, but I also pursued dancing classes and joined acting classes. It was always my first love, although I believe that one should have a sound educational background to fall back on," he says.
