Back to the Way I was

I was ready for some change

To let my guard down for once

Letting others peak into my life

I opened up my fist to let

The raindrops land on my palm

But the way that I have been burned

I have no choice but to go

I am closing up my book

No longer can trust

Have to become stronger

And not let anyone close enough again

Been stabbed in the back too many times now

Tired of not being able to focus on my agendas

Now I am ready to go
