Part 61

Prithvi was completing his project when he received a call from his Dad...

Rajveer "Prithvi beta...some important papers are here with me...i thought of sending them to you but Esha came yesterday and she suggested me to give it to her as she was flying to Chicago as well...will you be able to collect the papers from her?? she will reach soon"

Prithvi "that's all right Dad"

he kept the phone...

Esha was excited to meet Prithvi...she loved him and finally he was alone...he needed a support...and Esha was all ready to be with him...she smiled smirkingly... "thank God for clearing my way" she said in triumph... "Prithvi you are mine now" she smiled...

Few hours later...

Prithvi received a call "alright I will see you there"

Esha was waiting at the cafe few kilometers from the airport when two young men tried to come closer and talk to her... she tried to avoid them but they seemed constantly coming closer to her...she was about to slap one of them when they hold her hand... she shouted...

Prithvi came out of the car and saw Esha screaming for help... he ran towards them...

he saw two boys holding her hands...he punched them hard...he became more aggressive the moment he saw the boys molesting her...he kicked them very hard...they tried to run but Prithvi wouldn't leave them easily...he took out his entire anger on the boys...they were almost half dead...

Esha asked him to stop "Prithvi please don't kill them...just leave...police is here..." she pulled his hand

Prithvi was beating them badly while Esha was trying to pull him away "no leave me Nandini" he said... Esha immediately pulled herself back... Prithvi stopped and looked at her …..

he walked towards his car and opened the door... Esha sat inside while he spoke to the police and signed some papers...

Few minutes later

he came inside the car...he looked at Esha..."i cant see something bad happening in front of me..."

Esha "i know Prithvi...but I am Esha...not Nandini"

Prithvi didn't say anything and started driving...he came home...

"you can go and rest...i will take the papers later..."

Esha nodded and went inside...

Prithvi dropped her and went back to his work...

Prithvi was busy working when he received his Mother's phone

"Prithvi please take care of Esha...she's suffering a lot and you also please eat on time...i will try to come soon"

Prithvi kept the phone...

Later in the evening...

it was pretty late...he was still finishing some work...when his Mother again called him "Prithvi please go home now...you know Esha is all alone there...you must look after her if she has come to stay for some time with you..."

Prithvi "but Mom...my work is also important and I never invited her to come here"

Renuka "i know Prithvi...but she was feeling lonely here and needed a change...so if possible for my sake beta please look after her...she's a nice girl"

Prithvi kept the phone and frowned...

After some time he reached home...he could see the lights still on...

As he opened the door...he saw Esha lying on the couch...she didn't change and seemed tired...

On asking the servant informed Prithvi that Esha didn't eat anything since she came...

Prithvi went closer to her and tried to call her "Esha...Esha wake up"

but she seemed in deep sleep...he touched her shoulder...she immediately opened her eyes... "Prithvi...oh you came back..."

Prithvi "why are you sleeping here...you should go and sleep in the room..." he saw her moist eyes...

Esha "i will go now"

Prithvi "wait...first eat something...you seem really tired..."

Esha "no thanks Prithvi...i am not hungry..."

Prithvi didn't asked her the second time and brought the plate and filled the spoon and asked her to eat...Esha slowly opened he mouth to eat... then asked him to eat as well...

Prithvi "i will after you finish"

Esha "we can eat together..." she smiled and sat on the table... "why are you doing so much for me??"

Prithvi "what did I do??"

Esha "you convinced me to have dinner...and"

Prithvi "i would do that for anyone who would be in your place...its just a matter of courtesy"

Esha wasn't happy with his answer but she knew he would one day be close to her...she smiled... "anyways thanks Prithvi..."

Prithvi didn't say anything and went to his room...

Next morning...

Prithvi left early for his work...Angad was waiting for him as they had to start implementing the project that was decided long time back...

Richa was thinking about Nandini...she wasn't fully convinced that Nandini met with an accident...

Renuka came in "Richa here's your juice beta..."

Richa "Aunty...can I ask you something??"

Renuka "sure..." she sat on the couch next to the bed...

Richa "can you tell me the place where Nandini met with an accident"

Renuka "it was near blue wales shopping mall...just next to music mania shop"

Richa "Aunty can I please go and have a look...i will come back soon"

Renuka "but your juice..."

she said while Richa got up from her bed and quickly went outside...something was disturbing her...she couldn't believe...she knew Prithvi must have checked everything but still she wanted to find out how Nandini came under a truck...

After some time...

Richa was standing outside the shopping mall... she saw the road where Nandini was hit by the truck...she was surprised to find the road the so busy...that it was difficult for any vehicle to speed up...as people were crossing the road and the traffic was so slow...Richa was in deep thought...she was constantly thinking and reasoning out how could this accident occur in such slow traffic...

"something is wrong..." she said to herself...

Next day

Richa called Prithvi "I want to know about the dead body you saw"

Prithvi "but why are you asking??"

Richa "Prithvi there is something fishy...believe it or not"

Prithvi "what??? tell me...i saw the dead body..."

Richa "Prithvi...how can you say it was Nandini's body???"

Prithvi "because I saw some things that make sure it was Nandini who died in that accident"

Richa "no Prithvi...i wanted to show you something...i know you have involved yourself in work just to forget about her but how could you run away like that..."

Prithvi "Richa, you think I didn't try to find out??? I have searched each and every way possible...but..."

Richa "i think you should come back...just come for few days and if you think there's nothing we can search for then you can surely go back...but please Prithvi just come back once...i am sure there is something strange"

Prithvi "alright...i have to inform Angad and Esha"

Richa "Esha ???? is she with you??"

Prithvi "yes she came yesterday..."

Richa "for what???"

Prithvi "i don't know...and neither I have asked...she seems worried..."

Richa "fine...i am waiting...just let me know when you are coming"

Prithvi "i will call you" he disconnected the phone and thought something...

Esha was reading a magazine when she saw Prithvi packing some stuff... "are you going somewhere??"

Prithvi "yes...i am flying to Delhi"

Esha "Delhi??? for what??

Prithvi "Richa has found out some clue about Nandini's accident...so I have to go and see..."

Esha "clue???? anyways...when will you come back???"

Prithvi "don't know...but you can stay here...and take care"

Esha "yes...bye"

Prithvi left and Esha started thinking...and angrily dialed a no...

"come on pick it up" she said …..

nobody answered...Esha was getting frustrated... she dialed again...

"why don't you pick up the damn phone???...now listen carefully...you have to hide somewhere...make sure they don't find out anything about this murder...otherwise you will be in trouble as well...look we are equally involved in this murder..." she angrily kept the phone...

"This Richa is becoming my hurdle now" Esha was talking to herself...when she received the phone

"good...now don't show your face for sometime...and remember not to call me from your mobile...just use any local booth..."

Esha smiled wickedly... "Prithvi you will have to come back to me...you won't find any clue there." and laughed...
