| The 'Kkusum' girl has come of age. Nausheen Ali Sardar who celebrated her birthday on Thursday says that she has now shifted focus to the big screen. Talking about her birthday bash the actor gushes, "I met my 'Kkusum' team after a long time. We had a great time." Nausheen who recently has had a glam makeover has films 'Marathon', 'Vash' and 'Do Dilon ke Khel Mein' in the pipeline. She has also shot for a video for kids (track sung by Alisha Chinai), apart from doing Jayesh Seth's Punjabi film. The actor who has also done a Pakistani soap analyses her trek, "I've learnt the hard way so I value my success." Quiz her on what it takes to hit big time and Nausheen shoots, "It's not necessary to be a stunner. Possessing the 'X factor' is important." The commerce graduate, however, cautions all star-aspirants. She says, "This line is slippery, so education is a must. You must have something to fall back upon." Nausheen, a self-professed dreamer, recalls, "I had photographed myself outside this huge bungalow at Bandstand (now Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow Mannat). I dreamt of owning it one day!" She adds, "I'm a Cinderella waiting for my prince. He has to be pleasant-looking but not vain, respect elders and make something of himself." |
