I have a strong feeling that creep wrote it and not Arnav. Kushi was not talking to him or listening to him. He already said that he will get her before the funeral. He had planned it so that Kushi will see the mirror and come to the terrace. He knows Kushi will not go anywhere near him. Maybe he will plan it that even Arnav will come to the terrace so that he will misunderstand and hate Kushi.
This way it will free for the delusional creep to pursue Kushi little knowing that Anjali is still alive.
Maybe we saw a bit of the precap. Kushi might give him left,right and centre and Arnav will listen to it and start trusting Kushi.
