Dear filza & sheena,
Apart from ur views which r very apt, I hv arrived at one more conclusion...that CVs r trying to portray that the inherent weakness of one's character can hardly be corrected by moral teachings or the way one is brought up...see, adarsh has been brought up in a civilized manner but shakti has been taught different values...but if u look at their mean behaviour, u find them sharing a lot...

True but I feel sometimes the cvs are lenient when it comes to Saxes social causes..I think more emphasis is required to visually show it to the audience..

Great post ssbaqri.

Also, you're right about how similar Adarsh and Shakti are. I hadn't thought of it that way. Both are morally corrupt and both consider only their own happiness first. Even that show Adarsh put on at TN saying he will not tolerate bad behaviour towards Prats was not actually to help his sister. He was just looking for an excuse to get rid of Komal, and unfortunately for him, he failed.

So, does education and upbringing really not cause a change in your inherent weaknesses? Why be educated then? Maybe, some ppl are just too stubborn to change.

Interesting take, ADarsh Saw an opportunity to get rid of Komal by using P and her situation...hehas no real love. Towards anyone apart from his new GF who seems to boss him and be very demanding...
