Preeto has taken a step which she feels is correct as per the current circumstances , sometimes head on confrontation isnt the answer , specially with someone like NA, but as we can see she knows she is hurting RB, coz if she tells him the reality he will never leave her side. she has to make him dislike her / hate her . She knows his weak point is his family thats where she is targeting.
But it takes alot of courage and strength to say something bad to someone you love, specially when you are saying it without his mistake. As she says she will never be able to forgive herself for what she has said, it will definately be difficult for her to face him after this and more so if RB shows his anger and resentment towards Preeto by being with his bestfriend Simi.
Because imagining RB with Simi is different and Actually RB being close to Simi in front of Preeto will tougher for her to take. She will also miss his being around her all the time , being there for her everytime there was even the slightest problem.You never realise what you have until it is taken away from you
