EMET contestants since C2005 - Page 2

i saw another repeat of C2005 and just had to write about it coz it had my fave sharib in it 😳 ... actually this episode was a good 1 as there were some really good people in this group:

AS- himani and vishwanath
JL- ujjaini and sharib
HR- joyeeta and vinit
ID- anandita and irfan

himani sang "mujhe jeena sikha do"- 1 of my fave performances of her's 👏

vishwanath sang "suraj hua maddham"- not great... just average

SHARIB!!!- sang "allah ke bande"... AMAZING!!! 👏 👏 👏 ... one of my fave performance of his 😊 ... but the mentors were so mean about him 😡... aadesh- "sharib ka performance aaj mujhe BAHUT hi kharab laga" 🤢 ... well aadeshji, guess what - mujhe aapka music bahut kharab lagta hai 😡

ujjaini sang "hum hain iss pal yahan"... she used to sing WAY better than she sings now... what happened? 😕 ... not saying she's bad now... she was just a lot better before

irfan sang "chanda re"- it was nice... i like his voice 😊... but this wasn't one of the best
his rehearsal was so funny... ID really cracks me up 😆 ... "pehla ka note hi sahi nahi laga to sur pakarte pakarte gaana khatam ho jayega.. aur judge likh chuke honge "YELLOW"... aur pakradenge tumko "yeh lo"" 😆

anandita (if anyone even remembers her 😆 ) sang "zara zara"... killed 1 of my fave songs

vinit sang "rabba mere rabba"... very nice 😊
JL said "woh kabhi frontline singer nahin ban sakta hai" 😕 .... HR got angry and shouted "i'm telling u he's the star of tomorrow... ab to maine thaan li hai- main isko star banake hi rahunga"... well HR maybe if u stopped hogging all the songs for yourself u'd benefit yourself, vinit and us!

joyeeta sang "naina milayi ke"- not great 😕

himani and vinit (so called "lovebirds") got the green cards in this episode... they both deserved it but as usual i liked sharib's performance the most... cant help it- just something in his voice 😉

I personally felt all the singers in EMET barring Banjyotsna and Aishwarya sang MUCH MUCH better in C 2005. I think it was because of the fierce competition that they were so good. I mean its a fact, the top 5 in C 2005 were just fantastic and they were the top 5 that I am sure most people predicted once the Agnipariksha's started (I would prolly have had Sharib instead of Debo though..just to keep the uder 20 thing going there )..

Banjyotsna improved a lot.. I think it was being Sharib's partner that alsmost pushed her to improve coz Sharib was getting all the limelight and attention.. I loved their 'Bindaas' performance it was superb !!

Aishwarya was extremely nasal in C 2005.. he was better in EMET..

As for Ujjaini, Vishwaas and Sanchali whom I considered really good in C 2005, they started worrying too much about looks and other politics..

Twinkle and Rajeev I never liked them in C 2005 because I felt they didn't deserve to get so far.No offence to Rajeev fans, I just had a grudge against him since the episode in which he got more votes than Hemu and Nihira and they had that tie.. I always wonder, if eitehr of them would ahve got voted out then, I would have lost faith in music !!

I really like Vinitra or Vinita.. She was SUPERB in Fame 2005... I remember her singing Zindagi mein kabhi.. from Musafir..such a beautiful voice..pity she never got the due recognition for her voice...

I felt that Rakhtima had improved, but she wasnt there long enough to actly make a mark...

thanks madhaviji... some very good points... completely agree with u... i really liked vinita at the start too... in Fame 2005 she actually beat the other 3 wildcard entries: ujjaini, rakhtima and keka... and when the gharanas were being decided she was the fave with the mentors out of these 4... shame she got out so early in both C2005 and EMET

I miss those days of C2005....before all the regional conspiracy thing broke out.....the maahol was lot better before final 12 were picked.

ID was absolutely hilarious before the final 12... there was a really funny thread with funniest moments of C2005 ( i think it was called "most hilarious moments")... u should check it out... had all the ID lines 😆

hmm she looked ok backm in c-2005 as well but better in emet

not that i mind her wearing minis😉

as for singing i nthink she is ok.good only in certain songs(fun songs or sensual ones nothing else

but definately hot😉
