I think a lot of us must have heard of this now famous dialogue from Jerry Macguire, you had me at hello, I think I realised the actual meaning of this after watching the epi on 30/31st Jan,.
The entire Kunal/Siddhi sequence on the 30/31st was more like watching men are from mars in action.. If we just talk about all the dialogues and not the song sequence
Kunal sees Siddhi packing, he calls out to her couple of times, she doesnt respond. Typical of a lady, its more like damned if you do, damned if you dont. If he wouldnt ask she would feel more bad, but if he asks she doesnt respond. All the while she kept saying, that even if you ask me to, I wont stop, it was more like, please ask me to stop !
She keeps saying, mera yahan par kaun hai, kaun hai..and actually she is not looking for an answer, but is more of taunting him, that I thought you are there for me, but looks like you are not.
She keeps saying you dont understand anything I feel..again womanly trait..want men to understand what one is feeling without telling.
And the first 5 10 min she doesnt clearly spell out what the actual problem was, she keeps beating about the bush, i will not say, i will not stay back..Where she actually wants him to ask her to stay. I think this very much lady like, will not say what is the actual problem, will keep beating about the bush for ages and only say it out loud when the push comes to shove. Probably this happens because if you spell out what hurt you, it is like you show the others your vulnerability or show that you want them to care for you.
Both of them didnt realise that they were fighting like a husband wife, they keep telling that their marriage is a compromise, but they have been knowingly/unknowingly been a husband/wife in true sense.
Whenever, she asks rhetorically, who is there for me in this house, he always says your husband. Why did neither of them realise, that if they were just in for compromise, why was he being faithful to her and why was she feeling bad thinking what he may have done. And he kept assuring her that nothing happened, nothing happened, why was that required not sure if they were in a compromise marriage.
And the whole suno, ruko bit..the main purpose of my post😛
every time he says suno, she just stops, wanting to hear him stop her but he feigns ignorance and makes a 100 excuses.
every time he stops her, he kinda understood that if he asks her straight away, she won't respond, so he keeps making excuses..
the final suno/ruko was the best, where he says i dont know what i want to talk to you about, but i dont feel like letting you go.
Kunal's dialogues were also very much like a man's behav,,, they at times dont like the fact that the wife wants to leave the house and view it as, it was your decision to leave, so why should I stop you. Whereas a woman is always looking for someone to reinforce the fact to her that she is important, she wants the man to stop her when she is leaving and the Man always thinks, its her house, so why should I stop her, if she wants to leave let her. A woman would always say leave me alone, dont talk to me. And dare if someone actually does that 😃. All hell would break loose, so a woman talks and means completely opposite things.. All this was truly reflected in these two episodes ...
The whole sequence was written and acted amazingly well, I know its a very late post..a week later. Must confess, that was the first epsidoe I watched of this serial and since then am hooked. Both Kunal and Siddhi, their characters are so nice and played brilliantly as well.

First of all welcome to Parichay Forum poshah, hope you become active member of Parichay forum and have loads of fun with us. Secondly, you have come up with a great post so what If you have posted it over a week later. Those 2 episodes, Jan 30the and 31st, were so impressive that we all feel the after effects of the episodes even today. You are absolutely right about that scenes being so well written, acted and directed that you actually feel that you are witnessing a routine fight of a real husband and wife who are madly in love. Bravo to Sameer and Kirti for pulling off this scenes with such elan👏. This has to be the best consummation night witnessed on Indian television. I have made a daily habit of watching those 2 episodes and still don't feel bored of watching them. I have now even memorized each and every dialogs of the scenes😃.

Since you have not watched any of the previous episodes, you will not understand which episode I am referring to next, but in my opinion these two had fallen for each-other long before that night happened, immediately after the first court case was over. Though, she had realized it shortly before the consummation night and he hadn't realized it till that night, his love for Siddhi was always there in his heart. That night was just an excuse for them to express their unspoken love physically. I know In real world, it works other way around, verbal confession comes first followed by physical intimacy. However, in Sinal case, the physical intimacy happened much before they would verbally express their love doesn't mean the love was not there between them that night. As your tile suggests "You had me at hello", I think Siddhi and Kunal made that connection with each-other the moment they got married or else Kunal wouldn't have showered praises of Siddhi while rejecting witcha's love that same day.

If you don't mind, I would like to suggest you to watch all episode since Siddhi and Kunal's wedding day, Oct 5 or 6 I believe, to witness their beautiful journey of unspoken love. Also since you have done such great analysis from a woman and a man's perspective, I can't figure out If you are a male or female? Do you prefer to be called Poshah or you have a friendly name? Again great post and thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

Poshah, (Like Rani i would also love to know your 'friendly' name)
Welcome to the forum and you already look like a seasoned member to me because we have interacted on my posts before 😊
I started watching Parichay only after Kunal and Siddhi got married after Anand's death. I never went back to episodes before that since there was absolutely no need to. I was aware of the circumstances under which they got married and that was all i needed to know 😉 but do watch every episode after that. Its lovely the way they started off as adversaries and then moved on to become great friends. I always go awww looking at Siddhi as she hopelessly and helplessly fell in love with Kunal, much against her own judgement.
Even today i go back to the earlier days after a crappy episode like today's and it never fails to evoke the magic.. 😳 😳

do remain active on forum. God knows we need people to discuss the show and its characters.

welcome to the forum Posha...nd i love your post alot...indeed sinal are the most unique nd the best couple on tv i have ever seen...nd i have no second thoughts about it...the 30 /31st jan epis were simply out of the world...kudos to Sameer nd Keerti for such brlliant performances...agree dat sinal always kept saying that their marraige was a compromise but in reality it was just meant to happen...they are made for each other ...right from their marriage they have always behaved like a hubby wife ...especially in their confronation scenes ...so there is no element of compromise ...yeah in most of the shows its confession first then consummation ...but in sinal 's case...there was no verbal confession dat night ...through their emotions they conveyed their feelings for each other nd we got to witness the most realistic nd best consummation ever on tv...now the verbal confession is still due ...which i am sure we will get to see soon too... plz do come up with more such kind of topics...we all would love to read them...

Poshah, great analysis of the man woman equation. I am with you ... the 30th and 31st episodes were the first two I watched and have been hooked since then. I have gone back and watched all Kunal Siddhi scenes together since they got married (not the whole episodes though!) and I love love their scenes ... completely honest to the characters, completely real in words and actions and beautifully filmed and acted.

And like Kshiti said, I keep watching the scenes I like after the recent sad episodes. Give it a shot and keep interacting on this forum.

Wonderful analysis... Welcome to the parichay family...
As everyone said the after wedding scenes are just awesome... especially SINAL scenes...
The way their relationship grew from hatred->compromise->Love for Anand-> care->trust and finally love...

The way kunal gets worried seeing siddhis tears itself is the best way of showing the intensity of love... even more than words... it can express the dept of a relationship...

Thats the whole reason y i cannot handle the thought of divorce or any kinda separation for SINAL...
i can tolerate them fighting but cant see them in pain...

These two souls have become a part of my life that i get depressed seeing them getting hurt...

U just did a very wonderful analysis of the best episode in the history of indian TV serials...

I agree, this is one of the best episodes on tv..not that I watch a lot of serials, but this one was very good. Each suno was heart warming..wonder how many takes they had to do for getting that suno right ! And I also have to admit, that I watch those episdoes frequently, just to listen to suno !! i think i remem most of the lines tooo..jana hai to jao !!

maine sab dekh liya hai :) I mean, i have watched the previous episodes already, i couldnt resit..i had to..the suno just got me.. Yes the first court case was very good..i didnt watch the whole nov..cant stand the fight or the sadness..saw from the part where she comes to know the truth ! :) Woh mera title ka hello was for his suno...😛 And i espeicallly loved the whole sangeet and mehndi episodes..teh red saree sequence was very good.
If you don't mind, I would like to suggest you to watch all episode since Siddhi and Kunal's wedding day, Oct 5 or 6 I believe, to witness their beautiful journey of unspoken love.
