Prithvi "what the hell are you talking about????"
Suresh "Prithvi beta...i understand your feelings... you have to come with us to verify something..."
Prithvi "Verify?????"
Suresh "her face is badly smashed...all you can recognize her is with her clothes and jewelery."
Prithvi was horrified and shaken by what Suresh had said...he still thought she was alive...she couldn't die leaving him alone... he consoled his mother and asked the servant to take her inside...
After some time...
Prithvi went with Suresh towards the basement of a building...Prithvi stopped for a while...Suresh opened a huge door and Prithvi entered with him...Suresh asked the man to open a big chest freezer...Prithvi closed his eyes for a second...he couldn't look at the face...it was brutally smashed...none of the features could make out anything...Suresh asked Prithvi to come with him...
Prithvi "her face is so...how can I recognize her??? it could be someone else" he said.
Suresh "that's right...and that is the reason I want to show you some of her belongings that can make sure if she was Nandini...only you can recognize that properly"
Prithvi still had some hope that it could be someone else...his Nandini couldn't leave him all alone...deep inside his heart he had a feeling that nothing has happened to her but all his hopes were shattered the moment he saw her clothes and jewelry... "that's Nandini's..." he took her dress from Suresh and then looked at her Jewelry...that was her anklet... Suresh tried to console him...
Prithvi took her things with him and went out... he stood still outside the room...he couldn't believe his world was shattered...suddenly a small tear occupied his eye...
he yelled out loudly in pain "Nandini..."

Renuka "Rajveer I am so much worried for Prithvi...he must be feeling terrible"
Rajveer "we have to support him..." while wiping Renuka's tears... "you have to be strong Renu...otherwise how will you handle Prithvi??"
Renuka "i...i don't know what to tell him...you know Prithvi loved her more than anything else in his life and how can he forget her so easily" she sobbed...
Rajveer "i will talk to him...let him come back"
After some time …...
Prithvi was sitting in his car still thinking about Nandini...he looked at her anklet...he just couldn't control and cried out... few moments had passed...he came out of the car...took long breath and walked inside again...
Prithvi "Suresh uncle...i want to ask how this accident occurred?? and where's the driver of Nandini's car???"
Suresh "Nandini was smashed down by a huge truck while she was crossing the road...we are still in search of the driver...her car was found outside the shopping mall"
Prithvi "what do you mean??? you are searching the driver??"
Suresh "yes beta...we only found the car with no driver...and when this incident happened we were informed within half an hour...one old lady called us and informed...she must be walking by the road side...we are still in search of the truck...unfortunately no one could trace the no...but we are still trying our best...when we reached the accident spot, we searched Nandini's purse and found out her name and address...we were still verifying that time."
Prithvi "i still find this very strange...the driver of the car is missing... and suddenly a truck smashing Nandini..."
Suresh "it seems to be a planned murder...we are still waiting on some reports...i will keep you informing Prithvi...i can understand it must be very difficult for you to control...please give us sometime..."
Prithvi looked at him "if it was planned then i swear i won't leave that person alive on this earth" then walked out angrily…...
Late night...
Rajveer "Prithvi you have to be strong"
Prithvi was looking at Nandini picture... he didn't talk to anyone and his eyes were fixed on Nandini's wedding picture...
Renuka "Prithvi come and eat something"
Rajveer "Prithvi...are you listening??? you can't just sit like this...life never stops..."
Prithvi angrily looked around "my life has stopped...it stopped the moment she left me" he got up and went to his room...
Prithvi deeply thought something...somewhere inside his heart he had a feeling that Nandini was always so careful while crossing the roads...and why was she crossing the road...she went to the shopping mall...the car was parked outside the mall...driver went missing...who must have planned this...he was continuously thinking when he heard her mother crying loudly...
he went outside and saw Esha was hugging Renuka...Esha's mother had come to see her...
Renuka "we don't know how this happened...???"
Esha "aunty please don't cry..."
Kadambari "Esha please go and see Prithvi...he must be feeling very lonely..."
Esha looked up and saw Prithvi... she went upstairs... "Prithvi I am sorry to hear about Nandini..."
Prithvi went inside his room...Esha followed him "Prithvi please don't be sad...i am sure everything will be alright"
Prithvi "please leave Esha"
Esha "Prithvi I understand...you know I was so happy about my engagement but now after this bad incident how can I celebrate..." she started crying...
Prithvi didn't said anything...
Esha came closer and put her hand on his shoulder... "you have to be strong...and please take care of Aunty"
she went from there... Prithvi was still looking outside the window...he remembered all his moments spent with Nandini...he promised her that he will always take care of her...protect her...but now he felt bad, he had only given her troubles in life...

Renuka "Prithvi please come out of your room now...you should go outside...meet people..."
Prithvi "Mom give me sometime...i will be fine..."
Renuka "i am really worried for you Prithvi...i can't see you in this condition..." she started crying...
Prithvi hugged her "mom please...don't cry...you know your Son can never become weak..."
Renuka "i know Prithvi...but I even know you loved her a lot..."
Rajveer entered and saw Renuka and Prithvi...
Rajveer "Renu...Esha is in the hospital"
Renuka "what???? what happened???"
Rajveer "she tried to commit suicide"
Renuka "what??? but why???"
Rajveer "that boy whom she was getting engaged cheated her...he had some affair with another girl and Esha came to know about his story..."
Renuka "oh my God...poor girl...how is she now...lets go and see her..."
Rajveer "she is out of danger now...it will take sometime to recover completely"
Prithvi was listening to their conversation...
Renuka "i don't know what's happening around...i feel so terrible...one bad news after another..."
Rajveer "we will go in the evening and see her"
Renuka "alright..." she wiped her tears and went downstairs "i will make something for Prithvi...he hasn't eaten anything properly..."

Kadambari "and when I entered her room...she was lying half dead...we immediately called the doctor..."
Renuka "Esha is such a sensible girl, how could she do something like this...??"
Kadambari "i don't know Renuka...but I am feeling so helpless...that boy was so bad...he played with my daughter's life..."
Renuka "forget it...atleast you came to know before getting engaged...what if you found out after he had married Esha...now don't feel bad...just look after her..."
Kadambari "yes...you are right...Renuka it seems to difficult to see my daughter's condition...i feel so terrible..."
Renuka placed her hand on Kadambar's shoulder, to give her some moral support...
the Doctor came out of the emergency... "Esha is alright now...so you can take her home."
Kadambari "thank you Doctor...can I please see her now??"
Doctor "oh sure...you may go in"
Renuka went with Kadambari...she saw Esha's condition...her wrist was wrapped with white tape...she tried to cut her wrist...
Renuka looked at Esha...then caressed her forehead...
Esha looked at her with tears in her eyes...
Renuka "no don't cry Esha...i can't see you crying..."
Esha "no Aunty...i am just thinking about my life...how could this happen with me...and then Prithvi..."
Renuka "please take care Esha...don't take so much stress beta..."
Esha " I will but please aunty look after Prithvi...i am so much worried for him..."
Renuka smiled and left...

Prithvi was looking at Nandini's anklet... his brain wasn't believing his heart...but after looking at the dead body and her belongings he somehow believed that she had left him...he touched her picture...her beautiful smile...her big eyes...her innocent face...
he said to himself...
"how will I live without you...
my heart, my mind won't stay at peace without you...
I can't think my life without you Nandini..."
