Apologies in advance for the long rambly update, the dialogues in the first part were too good to miss and describing Abhay's sad state in the second part just took too many words...Khair here it is!
Episode begins with coming thunderstorm. Phulwa tells Gauri to charge her phone and take away Thakurayn and dadi. She spends some time alone, praying for he truth to be revealed to Abhay.
Downstairs Thakur sits with the gang drinking milk and enjoying songs on the radio. He says that the trouble has only been postponed, not eliminated. He calls out to Phulwa going upstairs when she stops and the lights go out. Kul lights lamps.
The first half mainly consists of Thakur's speech to Phulwa which I found really interesting to watch, I think the actor has really brought out the cold heartlessness of this character into light through his words today. In essence he simply revealed to her his nature and actions but it's really worth watching (and reading the parts below:D)
Thakur tells Phulwa to show him some respect as her father-in-law and she retorts saying that the man who could be neither a good son nor a husband can't be a good father-in-law. It is easy being a father but difficult to carry out his responsibilities. Thakur comments saying that he was not born for any of those roles but simply to make it big. Only those with money can make it big, and money can help buy everyone, including a daughter-in-law. Phulwa starts to tear and Thakur offers his handkerchief, stating that in this kalyug the truthful are meant to cry and those who cheat can win. (Phulwa's phone vibrates in her room; she doesn't see). Thakur continues saying that in his quest for money and power, whoever stood in his way was eliminated.
Phulwa asks, what about feelings and humanity? He tells her that those who care about feelings and humanity become weak in their emotions and can never succeed in life. They're simply destined to watch move up past them. He comments on herself, saying that caring about feelings and humanity has only brought her to the point where she has been left crying and wandering around. That is the difference between him and herself.
Dadi speaks up saying he has hurt her today, bringing shame to her motherhood. He sits next to her and asks her mockingly whether she thinks of herself as Devki or Kaushalya, that she would've given birth to a deity. Whenever his name would be taken, it would be taken with hers and his dad's. She retorts saying it will only be taken in fear, as he has hurt his own people instead of others, naming Thakurayn Laxmi and Shakuntala. Thakur explains that he killed Shakuntala to avoid being defamed, Laxmi as she had found out everything and placed hot coal on Thakurayn's tongue to stop her from revealing the truth.
Phulwa asks, what was Abhay's fault in all this? Thakur replies that nobody has a hand in either life or death and that Abhay came into the world to undertake his own share of sorrow, that too being illegitimate. Before he can continue, he turns around and is shocked to find Abhay standing at the door.

Lights return in the haveli. Phulwa runs over to him as he only remembers Thakur's last line about him simply being illegitimate. Phulwa starts to tell him she has always wanted to reveal all this truth, but he tells her to keep quiet when his father is talking. He walks over to Thakur, his face etched with shock all over, and wipes some tears, asking to eat dinner since he's hungry. (His words filled with desperation). He runs over to the dinner table and starts setting it, wanting to pull Thakur over who angrily shoves his hand away. Thakur comments that since Abhay has finally found out the truth, he won't lie anymore. Abhay refuses to believe any of it, stating that Thakur could have never lied, killed his mother or taken away Thakurayn's voice. He starts to cry and continues being in denial while Thakur simply walks away and sits on the sofa. Abhay runs over to him and sits at his feet, saying that Thakur is his everything, as well as having worshipped him. Thakur simply moves his feet away in disgust and Abhay only looks on.
He slowly gets up and walks away, remembering how he had defended Thakur on his wedding day. As his legs hit the sofa, his eyes search out Phulwa. He walks over to her and falls to his knees, lameting that he has been backstabbed by his own father, who can't really be his dad. The evil trio show off evil grins, as he continues saying that he has nobody left here. He gets up, telling her to leave with him and runs upstairs. Phulwa simply glares at Thakur.
Precap: Somewhere outside Abhay hugs Phulwa, telling her he has been left empty-handed, first with his mother leaving and now his father. She tells him it is all a matter of time, sometimes giving sorrow and sometimes giving happiness. She says they will together find happiness somewhere.

I've watched Abhay cry for long enough...really really hope Phulwa gives him enough hosla to move on!
