Khushi is bringing out the bindas Arnav side out in him...there is boyish masti which is held back behind his tough exterior...
Remember the masti as a kid he had spread glue on bed and Akash got stuck...even when he sees Khushi as Mami he could not control his smile coz he found it funny...all the didi tera jeth diwana he laughed coz he has a fun side to him...he is in his own way pulling Khushi's leg (kitchen scene) when he can...riling her to get a reaction from her when she is quiet
