Brij opened the door for Geet. While Maan came around & sat behind the wheels.
After a brief warnings & wishes finally they could get on the roads. She sat quietly. The moment they drew out of the community.. their was a silent sigh of relief. She sat more comfortably but still not really free. She knew nothing abt this guy.. except that he is jhanvi anuty's son.. & off course his name in Maan.
Through out the drive Geets eyes was glued away from him, like an deliberate attempt not to look at him. It was easier for Maan .. since he had the reason of being behind the wheels. He didn't speak a word. He didn't even ask her which college she was in... he knew there was only only college that comes en-route. He simply dropped her around 9ish. It was 2 hr long drive & nun of them spoke.
Before leaving Maan said 4
she nodded & softly said thank u.
he smiled & just left.
She turned towards the college few her frds who were waiting for her pounced at her.

It was 4pm & Maan was right there. He quietly waited for her to come out. By now he had found out her college gets over by 3.30pm. It was 4.05 she came out running ' holding her pallu in one hand & bag with other. He looked away not wanting to embarrass her. She straighten herself as she reached near the car. She quietly sat in the car. He didn't say anything just turned on the engine & changed the gear.
She wondered main sorry kahon kya
pata nahi kya soch rahen honge
ek tho free ride den rahen hain aur main...

he didn't know wat to think abt her. Well he didn't want to actually. She was from their community & so it was his responsibility. He couldn't think anything more.
Geet silently sat getting really nervous yeh kuch keten kyun nahi. Kanhi ghar jaake tho marvane ka irda tho nahi hain. Oh babaji plz.. mujhe bachvo na.. she was getting paranoid by the time they reached her Mansion gate. He stopped the car infront of the gate.. as the darban opened the gate he drove into the portico...
omg.. Geet nervously looked here & there why is he coming in.. main gate hi teehk tha na..

he pulled over infront of the main door & waited for her to get off.
She looked at her mama walking towards them from the hall & then at Maan.
He smiled & said bye.
She sighed in relief..almost forgetting to reply

she turned & looked at him once.. he drove into his mansion.
Couple of months had passed with their silent drives. He never said anything more than 4, a nod or smile yap off course bye. Geet tried her best to be at 4 but off course Geet was Geet!!! & now she knew he won't mind & would never make it a big issue. Their silence had become more comfortable than before. The 4hrs (2+2)drive was cool & smooth.
During week ends Geet & raji did hang out with the other girls in the colony but then again it was kept very soft & subtle. She never saw him other than their drives though.. from other girls she learned he is out in the weekend unsure where.. may be friends!!!???. She didn't even know wat he was doing. The way he dressed so formally she assumed he goes to work. Well her doubts were hers..!!! she couldn't ask any one
neighbors!!!! well actually they thought she would know more than them.
Both the families were very proud of their kids... especially the fact they didn't seem to get really pally or misbehave. Infact nothing had changed. Maan wouldn't even enter Handa house even if Rano or Brij invited him for a cup of tea.. he would sweetly thank them & get going.
