Dear Anas
This letter is being addressed to you because you have said that when you get a chance you log on to the Forum. I assume that you log on and read this forum too.
If you do, you will have discovered that you are unanimously liked- just not liked but immensely liked and a lot of the young ones simply adore you.
We all think you are a tremendous actor and have a lot of talent. Although your character Sooraj is a simple and gentle person, we have glimpsed other shades too, he can be strong, manly and assertive (as in the bus and then with the college girls), he can be humorous, very romantic and emotional. You portray all these shades extremely well without being too loud. It is not often that we see such good and natural acting on TV serials.
I am sure most of the forum saathis will agree that without you Diya aur Baati would not have been the smashing success it has been. People may think that it is Bhabho who pulls the viewers but in my view it is you. (Although we all agree that Bhabho's character is powerful and impeccably acted). You are the lynch pin.
Therefore, it does pain us to see you being sidelined to some extent and being overshadowed by the saas bahu drama where you have become a spectator, in pain and in shadow of Bhabho.
I cannot understand why you are not being given any meaningful part to play for the last month or so. You are either left silently staring at Sandhya or painfully at your mother.
Honestly you are too good an actor and all praise to you soldiering on in what must be a painful drag for you too.
We are hoping that soon and very soon you will get back to playing the lead in the truest sense instead of a mere trophy.
I am sure the producers know that if Sooraj is overshadowed by thundering grey clouds of Bhabho, the world will turn dark and the temperature plummets. So will the TRPS. We do not want that, we want the clouds to move on and Anas to spread the sunshine again.
May your popularity remain unsurpassed and wish you all the success in the world to keep us entertained for many years to come. You should be proud that people turn the TV on to see you. That is the best endorsement.
