Also-this post is about Arnav and Khushi in today's episode. Analysis numero duo! đ
Barun Sobti is a pleasure to watch, his presence just lights up the screen and what better way to add to that "glow" but for Miss Irani's face to come along and share the frame.
Personally, not being rocket science or anything but I figured he'd run back to his car and she'd be behind, probably since the SBB/SBS segments came out as a spoiler (boo hiss?!)
Watching Arnav's reaction was awesome, it's like he hears her, can't believe she's there, notices in his mirror, stares to make sure he's not hallucinating (guy doesn't believe in Anjali's "pinch me" theory I suppose) then rests his head as simple relief overwhelms him...which was too cute for any guy. đł
Again generally with every guy comes that same problem of miscommunication or just not being able to express yourself adequately. This is the 411 -
When no one is there, he cries due to the idea of potential loss...yet when he needs to show the same feelings of concern, he shouts...at that very person.
It all makes sense though right. we already know that Arnav finds it hard to apologise when he's wrong, so he naturally will become blameworthy in situations where he definitely isn't at fault (that doesn't mean another person is but remember-that's why we call it miscommunication)
Although he seems to have mastered the former flaw...he hasn't quite got his head around the whole assertive way of asking someone [KKG] if they [she] is okay...especially when he's being serious about it.
All of last week we saw him mumbling the question in that husky way of his, and today as we all held our breath...we knew it was coming, in true ASR style. He turns back to look in the mirror, jaw set, gritted teeth, clenched fist. Oof.
Approaching Khushi you could tell she was pretty flabbergasted to see him there, all she wanted was to each her chana in peace. Nope, dream on.
The chana are the first thing to go when he violently grabs a hold of her arm, if Khushi wasn't in enough shock to see him there, then she was pretty taken aback by this gesture.
All the while I was quite entertained by how much of an anticlimax the whole thing turned out to be, I really felt for Arnav cause recalling all the stress he went through, the dramatic falls, the tears, general hullabaloo...what it amounted to in the end was nothing. the car wasn't even involved in a crash but "warmed up too much", Khushi tripped whilst walking (explaining the broken chudis) and NK's phone had been left behind in the car. Nothing major at all...
Arnav, what a dramaqueen!
Of course, I'm totally kidding, the most important part of the whole ordeal was that even if in hindsight he acted as a little dramaqueen...it was all for the right reasons. We were reckoned with a side we hadn't expected to see so soon (or was that just me?) Since arguably the kiss/es đ and intensity from the past few days was building up to this moment.
I was disappointed though that there was a slight reminiscant factor about the whole "Mujhe fark padta hai kyunki-" dialogue when Arnav found out about Khushi's engagement. I knew he wouldn't confess...in all fairness, if he had done I would have been livid at the way it would have turned out, the chana stall and a few members of the public bearing witness to such a big moment would have ruined it for all undoubtedly. But even then...I wanted more- **edited** so I read a couple of posts and I agree-mature conversation is what I wanted...some sort of real acknowledgement of the concern, not quite a confession but something in that direction **
I suppose the whole holding her face in his hands, telling her tenderly how he thought he'd lost her and the best-his expression when he looked back to her after realising he couldn't answer her question was more than enough. (It was very "Omg she probably thinks I'm such a weirdo"đ Bless him đł)
Now for Khushi, she still seems to be quite disturbed due to his forwardness and genuinely wants to know why he cares so much. For her sake though I have to try and put myself in her shoes and can imagine that after the car broke down she wasn't in any rush to get back, it's all like a walk in the park, they've decided to wait and so with all the dramatic from LG's end, to her Arnav's reaction seems uncalled for...
She's probably annoyed for the same reason, he can't explain himself and without the explanation she can't understand. Ugh, men. đđ
Okay so the KKG/NK banter.
Anyone else love the imagery, literally Arnav stood in the middle of thetwo, the most awkward position, standing out like a sore thumb, third wheeler alert, whatever your name for it, that's exactly what he was. đ
Arnav's checklist on how to get pissed at NK-
1) Give the lady crush your boots (tick)-Anyone else confused as to why Nanhe couldn't have just given Khushi the chapals?
2)Give the lady crush some bangles (double tick)-the fact that Khushi was extra happy by the gesture was pretty much rubbing salt into the wounds.
It's as if the past few minutes of pain never occured in his life, I don't blame him for giving Khushi such a piercing stare as she casually jokes around with NK and tells him "aap bauhaut ache hain Nanheji" Hes thinking, "Nanheji? And what about me, I cried for you dammit!" đĄ lol silly boy...
It was all too much for Arnav and you could just see how his possessiveness hit a whole new level when he ordered then reinstated Khushi to get into his car not before telling NK to hitch his own ride home. It's genius.
I think that he's in the "I can't let you out of my sight now" phase...and also a "can't let you in NK's sight cause he'll end up wooing you before I can mumble Australia". đ
Nanhe is a cutie, regardless of him perving on Khushi's back his tomato faced nervous breakdown after he broke out from it just showed that he wasn't deliberately eyeing lady crush up, what can be said Khushi just has that effect on people đ. (And for the record Perving is ew-I don't condone such behaviour and never will). But from the aftermath you can tell he's shareef đł and the fact that he hasn't "made a move" on Khushi shows that he's trustworthy. Khushi wanting to stay with NK is justified, he wasn't the one who broke the pearls on her back or ditched her in the mud when she spoke her mind hint hintđ...since the apparent return of Arnav's angry young man persona ...she's pretty freaked and wants to steer clear of this apparent mood swing. Besides, even I've thought it to be rude to go home with a different person you came with...no pun intended.
She's pretty much set on the idea too to the extent of getting into the car unaccompanied (by that I mean opening her own door) and pretty much avoiding all eyecontact with the driver, Mr ASR, one foot out of place and she worries about the trauma and accusations she could face. She just wants to get home safe and sound, no drama. She doesn't even bother responding to Arnav's prompt of wearing a seatbelt, merely lifting her dupatta she shows she's already wearing it.
The choodiyan are another opportunity for comebacks (there's double-meaning in the way I use this)-
Comeback Number One- A.S.R: He's been all nice-nice helping out Khushi with the dance and giving her kisses, we saw the competitor, stone cold business man when he reminded Khushi that she couldn't win the bet since it got cancelled due to his assistance in one of her performances and we witness it again today.
"So Nanhe doesn't even know the size of your wrist?" he laughs at her. It's a move to make himself feel better by putting the other person down.
Comeback Number two-She responds, literally emphasis on her comeback "Atleast he thought to gift me something"- They're arguing again, I love it (Call me sad and sardonic) but I really missed these little digs they have at one another, it's very married couple-esque. đł She can't stand anyone being put down by Arnav and maybe somewhere it does cut into her that a guy has done something so nice for her and all he can do is be insensitive and laugh!
The next part again shows the whole aggressive concern, she's bleeding from attempting to put on the small bangle, he's hurt by that but instead of showing attentiveness, he shouts "Are you mad? Why would you put it on even if it didn't fit?" It's only in the end we realise he's worried "you could have cut a vein or-"
Clearly, the whole ordeal of nearly losing her hasn't passed dear ASR yet...even a cut and he brakes the car in a manner which could have resulted in worse injuries.
"And so what if I had?!" she screams back through tears. The injury is quite painful but it's like don't shout at a girl whose cut her hand, it's self sympathy she just wants it taken care of...and Arnav shouting at her ins't helping.
Again spoiler SBS/SBB gave the precap away before they even showed it, but what a precap it was...it's all very sensuous, he takes the broken glass out her skin with his lips. Definitely more romantic than picking his out with his fingers or like...tweezers or something but I suppose since it's these two I wouldn't put that past them either! Haha đ His actions should speak out alot louder than his words, like the time he helped twist her ankle back into place and she was surprised...But then when he warned her it would hurt, she was clearly most affected-this is why I say that because it's Arnav and Khushi they need things spelt out. I can't wait to watch this tomorrow, their scenes are killer right now! Kudos to Sanaya and Barun for being the perfect Khushi Kumari Gupta and Arnav Singh Raizada đ<3
Thanks for reading (if you managed to get to the end đłđ) xo
