I do like watching this show from time to time but I cant get over the regressive ideas and stereotypes around Bahus

Koki confuses me...I mean I do love her ever supporting MIL role ..she is pretty much like a mother to Gopi, even though Gopi takes this for granted at times

However her attitude about women bother me

She wants Gopi to be a good wife, but it seems like the best way she can do that is to serve Ahem, rather than be by his side, as his equal. Gopi is serving Ahem tea, dinner, lunch etc, makes Koki happy. However is that the only role a housewife plays?

Koki can be sweet but she is very very traditional at heart
At the end of the day:

Men should go to the office and work. they should come home to their smiling wives who serve them fresh ready made foods. end of story

I dunno, maybe its just me

True. Sometimes it gets really frustrating. Its difficult to understand the characters.

Look at Jigar...just out of nowhere he started talking to Rashi.

And also true abut stereotypes bahu and saas. It always has to be an women who is evil. All men are good, caring, sensible and understanding. I find this really ridicules.

I know its a fictional TV show and all characters are fictional. But it tells you that people who are creating these shows have no actual life experience.
