Kokila is irritating, frustrating, insecure and the next step is her turning into a dragon.

I am going to call this the hate to love Kokila ModišŸ˜† Club.

I am in agreement, I seem to can't hate her, but as maddy said I don't like her at the moment either.

I cannot hate her either.. But I do feel sorry for her.. So much bitterness in her. Rupal did a great Job.. I was with her till the last sentence..
You know what, she will not remain angry or jealous for long, at least not for Jigar's success. But I did see anger, humiliation, disappointment, helplessness and yes a bit of childish tantrum that is going to take some time to go away. Ok a lot of childish tantrum. All this may never go away. It may be brought down by some sudden praise or contract that Ahem will win in the future but this insecurity will never ever go away..
The one a lot of you interpret as jealousy, I interpret that as more of anger and disappointment at Ahem not being there in the presentation and losing the chance to impress. Before you come with sticks, that is not correct either, I know. It was just one meeting. Ahem may have had a lot of such praises and so on.. But the truth is for Kokila, everything even a single meeting is a competition. So if your son is not praised and somebody else is she does get jealous. That is her nature. She is not correct but again I can understand her.
I do not agree about how she brought down Ahem and Parag. But that is her life's bitterness talking. What you see as degrading, I see as the voicing of her innermost fear. It is not that Kokila disrespects Parag, maybe she does. He is an epitome of failure for her. As she said, she raised Ahem to go against that. Create a name for himself and stay on top of the others. Something Kokila can relate with. Staying on the top and striving hard. Not caring for what others think or want. Selfish- Yes. But she was brought up that way. Naani thought she was making Kokila strong. She succeeded in making her strong but insensible to others. Flaw in character. But again understandable.

In this outburst you can see how much his non working, take it easy attitude has affected her. It is distasteful still to voice it to a grown up son but who else will she voice it to? To Hetal?, to Baa? To her mother? NO.. She can say all this only to that one person she loves the most.. Her son. Ahem is sensible and he is not going to immediately hate his father. Kokila, deep down knows that too. And she also thinks that hearing this will make him realize his error. But what she does not get or realize is that Ahem also has a mind that functions maybe not the same way as hers. To her, she is Ahem and Ahem is her.. They are the same. His pain, his failure, his disappointment is hers and vice versa. But one thing she does not realize is that it can never be like that for 2 human beings.
Kokila is unable to understand that her happiness may not be Ahem's. That is where Ahem plays a big role. He needs to make her understand. Not an easy job. Maybe impossible but he will have to try.

Again all this is not to tell you guys that Kokila is correct. But just that I do understand her.. (except the last sentence of course.. I really could not understand that or say the purpose to that šŸ˜†)

I'm just irritated because she yelled at him even after Jigar had impressed the Desai guy. What's the point of that? Is it because there's Chirag and Jigar on one side and her son on the other? It doesn't make any sense because whatever profit/name/fame they'll gain will be brought into the MM. I don't understand the reasons for her competitiveness. (It may be inbred, but she doesn't need to compete for her sense of well-being 24/7)

I was also irritated when she complimented Gopi after Hetal complimented Rashi, but that's another story. šŸ¤”

Hey.. It is irrational.. But that is how Koki is.. And to answer your question about Chirag and Jigar. Yes. Atleast in Koki's mind, they are separate from Ahem. Ahem stands at one end with her family (Parag, Koki and Gopi) while Chirag is at the other end. Only Ahem gives her the equal footing to Chirag. So everything is always a big competition even between relations.
It was like that for her. She would have had to fight with her siblings because Naani (the grand old lady) wanted to make her strong. She would be competed and would have won. She teaches the same to Ahem. She wants the same for Gopi. Ahem and Gopi need to win, all the time. In a group, they need to be praised above others.. Irrational? Yes. of course. But understandable..

For her MM comes together for her only when she faces the outside world. That is why she protect MM from Urmi. But she still needs her son to be the best within MM. Does that make sense by any chance?

It makes sense, but I don't like the tension it has created. 😭
