Good Points
-I like Payal cutting Buaji off and saying she won't go through with the marriage if Mamiji doesn't agree. This shows the same sort of spine Payal showed she wanted to initially tell the Raizadas about Shyam.
-There's quite visible relief on Nani's face when she realises Akash already knew about the wedding. Nice subtle acting. Strong Nani is back! Where were you all these days when Mami was insulting the Guptas every other second? I was really expecting Arnav and Khushi to have to come back to handle the situation but I'm glad it was sorted without them for once, they don't need to have so much familial responsibility all the time.
-I love how we're getting all these references to the past nowadays. First with Anjali's past and also Mami's marriage to Mama.
-Payal! So you do remember Khushi's engagement to Shyam? Now do something about it and I'll stop cribbing about your character for at least a week I promise.
-Okay I wish we would have gotten a hug, but I'm glad I didn't have any high hopes of one so I wasn't disappointed. Arnav's eyes sort of shifting back and forth when he first hears the voice wondering if he's imagining it and then seeing her reflection in the mirror where he almost holds his breath. Then there's a deep sigh of relief and the way he put his head down was actually much more effective for his character. He only allows himself a few seconds though before his relief turns into anger that Khushi made him go through something like that in the first place.
-Arnav shouting at Khushi was such a good scene. He's angry, relieved, hurt, confused and he loses his train of thought and the ends of his sentences all because he was so desperately worried about Khushi who's just standing nonchalantly at the side of the road eating channe as if there's nothing wrong at all.
-It's interesting that Arnav holds Khushi's face in a way he only had before on Diwali, another night when he let his emotions get the better of him but then he ended the night telling Khushi she and it meant nothing at all.
-I know some people might think it should be blindingly obvious to Khushi why Arnav cares but I completely understand where she's coming from. Here is a man who gives her mixed messages about her importance in his life on an almost daily basis suddenly distraught about the fact that she might have been in an accident when most of the time he makes it appear he would like nothing more than for her to just disappear forever.
-Arnav's so good at avoiding questions with another question. 'Chote why are you calling Khushiji so many times?' 'Khushi left her phone here?' 'Nanav what are you doing here?' 'Why didn't you answer your phone?'
-I love how Arnav just stares at Khushi while she and NK talk about the bangles as if to say 'are you seriously talking about bangles with this idiot when I thought you might be dead just 10 minutes ago?'
-Khushi opens the car door and closes it herself even though Arnav reached his hand out to open for her and then refusing to talk to him was a nice touch I thought. Rather than the instant-amnesia lets pretend everything's normal Khushi that we usually get.
-Arnav asking her about her seatbelt seemed to me more like his attempts to start a conversation and get her talking because he seems slightly annoyed when he realised she already has her seatbelt on and had made him aware of it silently.
-Arnav's little smile when he realises the bangles don't fit is so cute! He's been watching her from the corner of his eye in annoyance and then you can see his eyes light up. Of course he will know her size considering he has at least three of her broken bangle pieces :P
-Then we get his overreaction at her hurting herself because he's obviously still not completely over the shock he had and his first fear is what if she'd cut open a vein and he could possibly lose her for real this time.
-Khushi again can't understand how he can have so much concern and so much apparent loathing at the same time and you can see her frustration at him being like that and needing a definitive answer once and for all.
Bad Points
-Again over the course of the episode we have over a minute of repeated footage. But I'm actually glad the bangle scene isn't until tomorrow because it means that they now have a bit more breathing space with the episodes.
- The first few minutes where Mami just talks shows exactly how weak willed the Guptas are without Khushi as their simultaneous mouthpiece and punchbag. Nani and Mama can't yet say anything because it does appear as if the Guptas have lied and Akash and Anjali do their normal thing of standing there looking pretty for 10 minutes before they talk. Arnav and Khushi really are the only strong willed people on this show.
-Where was Shyam while this was going on? Planning his next stupid attack? This would have been a perfect opportunity for him to try and put a stop to the wedding which is what his plan appeared to be with the whole scorpion thing.
-Where did all those stalls and vendors behind Arnav's car appear from? They certainly weren't there in yesterday's episode when he left his car there.
-Somebody really needs to finish that 'farq padta hai kyunki...' sentence already. As much as I love the line it's getting just ever so slightly repetitive now. Although I understand they both want the other to admit it first which is why they keep asking it.
-The case of the re-appearing Bluetooth! Where did you disappear to while Arnav was in distress?
