In my opinion, the show would have fared way better if it had been sold simply as a remake of GEM, which was a good show for it's time. For then countless people like me would have watched out of curiosity, to see how the remake is handled & how Sameer adds his own touch to Ram Kapoor's role, instead of waiting, episode after episode to see the 'male-centric, new concept' that was promised in the name of 'Parichay' On the other hand countless others who hadn't watched GEM would have watched either ways, thus making it a win win situation. Case in point, 'Agneepath', which people are flocking to see, fully aware of it being a remake of an older film.
For those that watch the show only for Sameer &/or Keerti, ironically, that is exactly what they prey on. They hope that there will always be enough of an audience that is satisfied by seeing their favorites flit across their screens, in-between heap-loads of revolting Richa scenes.
As for me, I'll continue to watch...occasionally, but never live on TV while it's being aired, for, after being grossly cheated, I certainly don't want to contribute to their ratings & thus to their earnings.
In any case, the way the story is picking up speed, it might just near it's end sooner than you expect, or maybe they'll hurtle through the Kunal/Siddhi scenes & save screen time for the 'pivotal' vamp...sorry, parallel lead.😡
@RD, you do a clever thing...you leave from here to watch & review a good show & only return here the next day to air your distaste. Think I'll follow your lead henceforth.😆
