Remember the journey of teenager Mia to Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo,the crown princess of Genovia??!!!!A journey of understanding...rules...ignorance...love...and above all... REALIZATION...!!The Mia who in the beginning was afraid to accept the biggest truth of her life stands up as a crown princess,Amelia...Its not that Mia dies...Mia just gets wrapped in a shell named Amelia,where she will live forever...hidden...exposed only in front of those who have the power to break the shell.
The most important step in this transformation was 'Realization'.The moment Mia realised and accepted the truth...her transformation began.Same applies to our very own princess Moniya...No matter how much DS, UV , Komal or Brijraj try to change her...it wont bear fruit coz Moniya is yet to accept Manyata...Moniya may change her clothing,her way of speaking,her attitude,her friend circle and may even fall for UV...but she would still be Moniya!!!But the moment she accepts Manyata as her truth...truth which was destined for her since she was born...she would become the crown princess...irrespective of what she wears or whom she loves!!
We all wonder that why Moniya treats her family that way...why Akash matters more to her than her own Mom..the answer is actually quite simple..."Because she is Moniya" and the family belongs to Manyata...She has failed to accept a group of people as her family...they are as close to her as some strangers!!!For her DS is not her grandmother but Rajmata or Mataji...which she clearly states!!!
Going back to "Princess Diaries"...Mia,a normal teenage girl who so desperately wanted to love and someone to love her back agreed to marry Prince Andrew...not because she loved him or he was his soulmate but because she had some responsibilities and dignities to fulfill...If it were Mia...she would have ran away from her responsibilities but it was Amelia!!!She also chose her love but in a much dignified and responsible way...the moment she had quit her wedding she had the love of her life...But she had some duties left to do!!
Thats the same thing I want Moniya to do...To be Manyata ,accept he responsibilities and marry Udayveer...She falls for Udayveer or not is a different thing altogether...If she wants she can safeguard her 'Akash' in her heart forever...but he will have to remain in the shell with Moniya...Manyata is meant only for Udayveer...watching Moniya as well as Manyata falling for Udayveer would be a wonderful thing.!!But the same applies to UV too...coz he has or rather had fallen for Moniya not Manyata!!With crown comes dignity...and duties!!The battle between love and Duty has been an old and tiresome one...But it is duty always which has won...not by defeating love but coz love itself chose to lose..!!
Moniya is simply running away from the truth which destiny has gifted her in Manyata...But what remains to be seen is that who will win the final battle ...Moniya or Manyata!!!
