I think this did not go well with Gulaal...Pooba's jabarjasti actually made her go deeper inside her shell...she was being kicked out of her house..and at one point of time she will be actually forced to leave this house because of him after he will go to panchayat for restitution of his rights...this actually worked against Kesar...

gulaal asks whether she is asking her to leave from this house..poonam says if u think like that then let it be...but truth is that u have to go to your hosue now...that too when ur pati came to take u...gulaal says why u always talk abt this..i dont want to talk anything abt it...poonam says circumstances will not change by changing or not talking abt it...the truth will be the same even though u reject it to accept...the truth will not change...even i will not stop telling this as what ever may be the truth...but its the reality...tomorrow its vat savithri..how can u think to stay away from your house, family n pati...u know the importance of this vrat...gulaal says that i know the importance of the vrat but i cant keep this vrat...poonam asks why cant she keep this vrat...the tradition which is followed from many years cannot be rejected by her...u did DV according to your wish...so now u will do this vrat savithri puja also for that relation...u cant say no to this...gulaal says that she cant do...poonam says that she has to do it...if not for u or any one..but for kesar's good u have to do it...poonam gives her the dress saying to wear it tomorrow n asks her to pack her luggage...poonam leaves n gulaal in tears...

Aditi,I agree everyone expected him to be Vasant's parchaayi.They never appreciated his individuality.somewhere Gulaal is also guilty of that.His frustration regarding everyones expectations came out so wonderfully in that scene with MB na where he says "main Vasant bha nahi hoon"That was a brilliant scene👏
