Today was my boyfriend/to-be fiance's surprise birthday party that i threw for him and it was pretty extravagant but when i had to get up and say a few words about himYou know what i started off with...

"Adi has always been a sweetheart. He is that someone special every girl looks for in her life. He makes my heart go dhak-dhak everytime I'm with him..." and that was when i realized what the heck i did!

My sis Maddy was chuckling in her table quietly (she shares this account with me and is in love with IPKKND as well) and I was like OMG! What do i do now! I managed to cover it up but later on but he questioned me about the "dhak-dhak" line cause that kind of stood out as I don't really use "dhak dhak"in my daily vocab.

I didn't know what to say but in the end he thought it was cute. LOL!Thank God!

IPKKND has officially made a mark on my mind! lol!

What do you think about this situation?Any funny stories to share?

Well I called my 13-year old son Khushi! Yeah, don't know why!

He has beautiful skin and a grogeous smile like Khushi, but that's where the similarities end! He is a 13-year old American pre-teen who plays basketball for gods sake!!. He said "what did you call me?" And walked away with a "what the?" look on his face. He doesn't know anything about the show of course! I felt kind of silly! 😆

Both my kids son 7 and daughter 4 know that I watch this show and crazy about it. I called my daughter Khushi the other day and she was really angry and said "I am not your TV show actor, I am you daughter, call me by my name". I apologized and was feeling bad about it. Of course my daughter knows how to make me happy, she gave a tight hug and kiss and my heart melted. My son who was watching all this, just said this " Mom don't call me Arnav" and all of us including my husband burst out laughing.

This IPKKND has become so part of my life that sometimes I end up calling my kids with character names. Actually its scary, I don't want the addiction to go too far.

I let my 7 year old daughter watch IPKKND in December end, where there were a few comedy scenes go on! She asked me some questions

My daughter - Does Arnav like Khushi

Me: I think so but I am not sure!

My daughter - Does Khushi like Arnav

Me: I am not sure!

My daughter - Are they friends?

Me: Yeah, kind of!

My daughter - If they are friends, why do they keep fighting with each other?

Me: I don't know!

My daughter: Why does'nt Arnav never smile!

Me: Something happened to him in the past, but I really don't know!

My daughter: Is Shyam a bad person?

Me: Yes

My daughter: Does Anjali know?

Me: No,

My daughter: Why not?

Me: I don't know!

When the whole family plans to stay quiet to make Arnav agree for the Sangeet and when Arnav asks the whole family to come in, says he knows they are all acting:

My daughter: Who is the eldest in the family?

Me: Naniji

My daughter: Then why is Naniji scared of Arnav? Why does'nt she decide?

Me: I don't know

At that time Khushi was doing a little bit of OTT

My daughter: Is Khushi a silly person?

Me : No, no (vehemently)

My daughter: Why is she doing silly stuff? What kind of person is she..

Me: ... It is ok, sweetie, don't ask me too many questions!

The question she did'nt ask me was 'Mom, how come you watch this show but still don't know anything about it! 😆

So I got a new phone in dec. I had just discovered this show 3 weeks ago at that time and was excited to show my sister ASR.
