It is a bigger challenge to entertain the audience and keep them hooked to the show on a daily basis. There is no set formula for the success of any show because one can never predict what eventually appeals to the masses.
But both Sony and SAB.TV have every reason to celebrate. They are basking in the glory of two of their popular shows that have managed to win the hearts of the audiences and are going strong currently.
Parvaarish Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi on Sony Entertainment Television, successfully completed 50 episodes recently. The entire Cast and Crew of the show are extremely happy to reach their very first milestone. The various challenges and emotional turmoil that a Parent and Child faces in their day-to-day interaction with one another, forms the crux of the story. Its simple story line and well-defined characters, not only make the show interesting but also relatable. We all realize that parenting is not a child's play as there is no rulebook with defined norms and Parvaarish successfully manages to highlight these issues with a lot of sensitivity. Let us hope this show continues to win many more hearts in the days to come.
Gutur Gu on SAB TV, has also reached its 1st mile stone - 100th episode. Gutur Gu is based on a character named Balu a simple, innocent and super enthusiastic person who stays with his family consisting of his wife, parents and his grandmother. The episodes feature a series of incidents and confusions that follow in everything that Balu does, as he invariably manages to get into misadventures. However, Balu somehow succeeds to turn even mundane situations into indigenous adventures.
