Vetri gets a new guide ( why do they need guides in undergrad programs?? Systems changed ? ) That professor is a strict guy and warns Vetri to behave.
Hall ticket collection from Sullan - some little tamasha happens. Divya meets Ashok and Appu - gives them some notes and asks them to pass it on to Saravanan.
Saravanan promptly refuses saying that Divya is a psycho case - Appu and Ashok try to advocatefor Divya - in vain. The new entrant, the professor who is Vetri's guide meets Corres. She wants him to punish Vetri " just make sure that he does not write this semester " Vetri's guide flatly refuses " even if God wants me to lie, If he makes a mistake , I won't let him escape easily, period " Corress is livid. Karthi with his Jo - Ashok with Jaya - the groups pass each other as if they are arch enemies

Brief again
Vetri, Karthik, Ashok and Appu - decide to get active . Just so Princi and Corres will take them seriously. Vetri finds that the Student Chairman's room is locked. Appu is about to break open
and Sullan comes. The group gets the info " Vetri is just a student , not chairman any more "
Well, the management has decided that whoever comes first in the semester will be made chairman. Nila also gets to know this and peps up Vetri - " you have to come first in this semesterand become chairman again " Bala is busy preparing bits. Karthik and Vetri are studying. Nila calls and kadalai pOttufies 😉 sends a cup of coffee - epdi?? sms le thaan
Sakthi and his friends - Sakthi offers to teach his friends but they want Sakthi to do well -
" this is your chance to do well and become Student Chairman " Sakthi is skeptical.
Finally Jaya and Karthi have a heart to heart to talk. Both decide that they have to separate.
Jaya clearly analyzes and says that they never were in love " let us part and go our own

Now all you have to do is study well and stand first in this semester " All disperse. Divya, Nila and Jaya - combined study nnu ellam kOttam adichings. Next morning Jaya walks in the college and has visions of her Kadalai days with Karthi. Ashok over aa feelings kaattings. Karthi moraichings.
Nila avanga veet le padikkara. Akka Ore pAsa mazhai. Nila wants to know as to why akka can not shower the same pAsa mazhai on all the students. Akka says that running a college is different from being a sister - "go and fly a kite, ok?? "
Kavitha with Saravanan - Saravanan asks Kavitha to stay away - " ennale ungalukku ethukku bad name? " Kavitha says that he never said all this whenever she helped him. Finally she tells him that Ananda Vikatan has announced some poetry competition - " participate and let the world know who you are . I don't want any thing in return ..other than your paasam " (pray what does that mean?? Paasam = love?? )

Exam results vanthacchh - Sakthi than first mark. Karthik, Vetri, Nila ellam ella subjects um
clear panniyaach. Nila feels bad that Vetri can not be the Students' Chairman but Vetri is
not much worried. He is happy to stay in the college. Ashok and Appu are unhappy that Vetri
will not be the Chairman. Karthik quietly calls Sakthi and asks about Chairmanship. Sakthi says that he is not interested in being the Chairman - "naane pOi Corress kitte sOlren that I do not want to be the Chairman " The Vetri gang is happy.
Sakthi goes and tells the Princi and Corres that he does not want to be the chairman -
" I can not do justice to that post. I am just interested in studying well and continue with
my research " Both the ladies veto any such notion " Sakthi, we can not keep changing the rules , you have to take up the post " They force him . Sakthi is the chairman apdi nnu notice

he is helpless " Corress and Princi forced me to accept, I had no option "
