from what I understand and have seen in the various episode... swayam is as reserved as sharon... he is there for his friends but doesnt open up and share his feeling with them... after that phir mohobat sequence of swayam... rey is shown coming and asking him to come with everyone to see sharon... but he chooses not to come and has a valid point as to why he doesnt want to come... but even before rey can enquire whats the reason he has told him to not ask why and had told him to leave... the way I see it... swayam as a person finds happiness in helping others but does not feel comfortable to show him own person that he is sad... cause of which he always seems to be crying alone or hurting himself alone... there have been many where the CVs have tried to show that without swayam realising friends frineds rey, kriya, and to an extent nil have tried to make him realise that he is hurt but needs to accept it and needs to share... like that scene where rey goes to swayams place to help him pack and indirectly keeps telling him that its sharon why he is leaving college and he needs to accept it...
