IPKKND Maha Episodes rarely have anything Maha in them but it does lead up to bigger events so I'm hopeful for the next week.
Good Points
-We got to see the kiss again! I wasn't initially sure how I felt about it but I think like that it was on the cheek actually. More affectionate and loving and giving Khushi a choice than it would have been on the lips.
-Anjali! What's this? Is your brain turned on? In working order for once?
-Interesting that Khushi labels the smallest morsel in her name and also not her real name but the one her Aunt uses to label her a troublemaker. Shows how much she thinks of herself in the family order.
-The sisterly bonding was very sweet. As was Anjali putting haldi on Arnav.
-New clothes for everybody! Love the style of Arnav's new collar.
-Arnav only gets mildly irritated when Khushi laughs at him. No usual anger at all.
-Arnav wiping his haldi off with Khushi's scarf! So awesome and couple-y! And I'm sure symbolic somehow but I don't know how haldi works so I can't explain it. He was also totally getting into flirty mode when he said 'last night when I...' but NK had to ruin it :(
-While Khushi talks to NK Arnav stands there like a logn suffering boyfriend/husband waiting for his wife/girlfriend to finish a conversation with a friend of hers that he doesn't particularly get on with.
-Khushi's definitely taken note of Arnav's jealousy and is playing up to it but to what end? If she doesn't realise she likes him (which it seems like to me anyway) why would you want to make the guy jealous? Not that I mind, because jealous-Arnav is hot!
-Khushi again helps Anjali, making sure she doesn't fall with her burdens.
-Nice contrast between Arnav grabbing Khushi's scarf where she first asks him to release it before trying herself and with Shyam where she immediately snatches it away.
-Khushi doesn't even acknowledge Shyam or bother to even pretend to listen to him.
-Payal and Akash are actually having a mature conversation?! When did they learn to talk to each other? Payal you don't want to hide your first broken marriage so maybe you might want to mention to him what a creep his brother-in-law is now?
-I like how Arnav's jealousy manifests into him being angry and giving a death stare to NK rather than being angry at Khushi for a change.
-Possessive Arnav is even hotter than jealous Arnav! How far have we come from June 6th where Khushi opened her hair to avoid Arnav's gaze on her bare back to Arnav opening her hair to protect her from the gaze of others.
-FINALLY! Nani and Anjali get a clue! It only took you what 7 months?
-Arnav's husky voice after Khushi kisses him, clearly affected by her kiss and then he seems disappointed that she claims she was just fulfilling her end of the bet rather than having got swept up in the moment and kissed him. I wish I could have analysed Arnav's 'tum teek ho' slightly more but it's hard without knowing his actual facial expressions at the time. But from what i could gather it was a sort of 'Are you okay with all of this?' type of question.
-Khushi unconsciously putting her own clothes in the suitcase. Her subconscious totally knows where she's going to end up :P
-Garima actually remembers that Khushi was engaged? Really? Sometimes I'm surprised she even remembers Khushi's name.
Bad Points
-Of course Payal. God forbid Khushi should have her own problems or worries being the sole breadwinner and bearing the expense of this big fat Indian Wedding you've got going on. She should be worrying about you getting married into a super-rich family where everybody except two people love you, right?
-Again let's send Khushi off to do some work and not allow her to enjoy her sister's Haldi. What does she need to be here for anyway? She's not real family.
-Shyam. Shyam. Shyam. Are you that stupid that you think she'll still be interested in you and is just angry at you because of the sangeet incident?
-Where does Mami disappear to after being kissed by Khushi? You'd think she wouldn't miss a chance to get a dig in at Khushi.
-Khushi comes home, has missed the haldi and is supposed to do ironing before she has to go back to the Raizadas again? Argh!!
-Repeated shots of Barun throughout the episode mean we can't properly gauge Arnav's reactions and meanings when he has Khushi up against the door or at the poolside.
-Body doubles galore! Less bloopers though at least.
-I would have liked to see more reflection on Arnav's part as to how he felt about the kisses rather than the short part we got.
Really hoping Nani and Anjali say on Monday 'Oh no, not you, we were talking about NK' and then we can see Arnav flip out :P
*I haven't exactly covered the kiss in today's episode because I really don't want to colour anyone's judgement but let you make your own decision how you feel about it, but I might mention it on Monday ;)
