Article- Ashish Sharma: The Real Chandragupta!

Ashish Sharma, known to live his character to the fullest, got completely involved and injured himself during the battle sequence which was being shot between Digvijay and Chandragupta for the show Chandragupta Maurya on Imagine TV.

Apparently Digvijay was suppose to punch Chandragupta and while doing so Chandragupta had to move back. However, Ashish wanting to give a genuine reaction took the punch for real. Poor Ashish now has a long cut on his nose, which goes up till his right cheek, as Lalit was wearing a big ring on one of his fingers that pealed some portion of Ashish's skin off his cheek.

In this scene, Chandragupta enters the dynasty of Digvijay (Lalit Negi) to fight a battle, but when it ends, Chandragupta realizes that Digvijay is his childhood friend. The two friends then come together to fight against Dhanananda.

Hats off Ashish for your love and dedication towards your profession. You are indeed a true Hero!
