I have been reading your analyses on the pre leap episodes and everyones feedback all thanks to Jzee who gave me the link to the first thread of these really wonderfully done posts and I couldnt help but comment... Srushti you have done an amazing job with the caps and comments 👏 The things that each one of you pointed out, the parallels in between GK and GV scenes and the continuous intervention of fate right from the start of the show was done so brilliantly! I especially loved the very start of the first epi or I guess the second one in which Vasanth was looking through that circular thing of Ramjariah when he was first thinking about Nirjira and saw Kesar running towards him... that particular bit was so ethereal! To see how Kesar and Gulaal were always one right from the very beginning. I'll tell you since i watched very few scenes of Gulaal pre leap when i started to watch the show because i was too impatient to watch older Kesar and Gulaal😆.. so i basically skipped alot and just started with the DV of GK and went on ahead to gather some insight on their relationship (I know now that it wasn't much at all 😆) I hadn't anticipated Gulaal to be so brash and bold when she first made her entry and asked vasanth's name just like that! That girl shocked me to no bounds and i was still reeling after watching the other episodes that Gulaal was
this chirpy and bold? I was so used to the more mellowed Gulaal that this one seemed like an alter personality or something 😆 Vasanth's death and then those ten years really took out the light from her i am really glad though that Kesar still always managed to make Gulaal be herself when she was around him... That thing I loved alot...
coming to this particular episode I loved the comaprisons done by Greeshma! That was just lovely yaar!! 😍 all were my favorites.. the comparison in between Kesar's anger and Vasanth's anger was so clear... Vasanth when angry was really good but his anger wasn't total madness like Kesar's was... Kesar's anger was all consuming whereas in Vasanth's case there was anger but sanity was still intact.. you can see how he immediately stopped and calmed down when MB called out to him and where Kesar is concerned, um yeah we all know where that ended 😆 it actually showed how Vasanth was such a peaceful ( i cant remember the correct word or lets say my vocab has taken a walk and i know there's a better word then peaceful for this particular sentence of mine ) sort of a guy that even when angered his sanity hadnt taken a walk like Kesar's had who just lost it although I will say that in GK scene what those guys said was far more insulting then what this guy said...
oh and i just lovd those shots young and old Kesar peeking to look at Gulaal, Neil looks like such a child in that scene! I felt like hugging him! he looked so adorable looking at her eager and nervous to see whether she'll wear his bangles or not and young kesar looking at Gulaal wary and curious and petulant as well on not giving up his annoyance with her.. talk about being stubborn.. everyone welcomed her in the family and he was still giving her airs being a 12 yr old at that as well 😆 or is it ten? *thinking muh*
Other then this there was this one thing I noticed ( i hope it was not a play of my eyes 😆) when the Panchayat asked Gulaal to start speaking, I really liked how Mansi enacted Gulaal here who was nervous like anything but didnt let any of the fear/ nervousness show on her face instead she walked forward with a brave front, her head held high to answer the questions thrown at her.. the thing that gave her away was the nervous curling of her fingers as she started to speak uncertain of what she'll say and whether it would convince the people in front of her not and I noticed how Kesar's fingers were twisting around his own stick as he looked on to judge the woman in front of her 😍 I lovedd that!
coming to the first meeting of GK... i really dont have anything more to say because you guys said it all.. i especially loved the bit about Vasanth first guiding Kesar to Gulaal at their first meeting and then guiding Gulaal to Kesar at the very end.. like you said.. that was one complete circle... I loved loved the comparison avi's done by Greshma! All of them were amazing girl you did a great job with finding similarities in between the scenes! its unnerving to see so many parallels you know and too right from the start! This show was sheer brilliance from the very day it took off thats all i can say and I dont know when i'll stop being in awe of the entire team the cast and cast.
