^^^I dont take Masand's words as gospel truth. But there have been other articles esp on trade sites like BOI/Indiafm about SRK's fees for his YRF. None of them said he was unhappy before or now. They said that both SRK and SK kept AK's fees as benchmarks and negotiated their fees with YRF based on what he got. So obviously times have changed and the big stars are negotiating their fees accordingly. I dont understand why Masand's article about SRK being unhappy with his fees earlier have taken as gospel truth and you had to make it sound as if SRK is being disloyal to YRF. Thats exactly why I quoted you.
SRK always has been paid handsomely for his work by all producers he has worked for including YRF. But his fees as its with other stars is better now due to share in profits. Earlier other stars like Akshay used to take home huge fees based on their current hit status while SRK's fees remained stable over the years despite his BO status. He used to compensate this with endorsements. Now the economics of a big movie works out differently.
