She was feeling more tired than usual. However she had promised to help out at the NGO today. They had said they were visiting the sick children there today. She walked briskily. But carefully as a maharani should. Her days of acting childlike were gone. She had to be a good example when all of India's media and public attention was on her actions. However spending with the children made her feel like her oldself again. It wasn't like she regretted all the changes in her life, she just had to take on new responsibilities.

Manyata worked and played with the children for a few hours before realizing she something was abnormal today. She never got tuckered out or felt sick like this before today.

Dr. Sanjana was nearby and noticed Manyata seemed unwell. She grabbed her arm and took her aside.

" Manyata tum theek toh ho? Today you seem unwell," she stated.

Manyata smiled at her wearily.

" I am not sure Sanjana. I just feel very weak and tired today," she admitted.

" How about I run some tests? At least we can be sure everything is in working order," Sanjana suggested.

" Theek hai. It won't hurt for you just to check ," Manyata stated.

Sanjana change into a hospital gown.

She asked her some questions and took blood and urine samples from her.

Manyata got changed and waited for awhile and decided to go spend more time with the children while she awaited the results. Sanjana indicated her to come over sometime later through the glass window.

Manyata came over to her.

"Here are your results Manyata. You are a bit dehydrated. I will subscribe some vitamins and make sure your drink eight glasses of water daily. In this state a woman needs to eat properly and take her of her body," Sanjana stated.

Manyata frowned.

"What state?," she was feeling weary now.

Sanjana realized she was going to fall and led her to a chair. As she blacked out she heard the words,"Manyata you are expecting,"

When Manyata's driver arrived looking for his madam, Sanjana told him that his madam needed medical attention and to let his sir know.

She thought it was best Manyata's husband found out once he was here.

Also she needed to be monitored overnight at least.

After getting word from his staff that Manyata had to stay at the hospital, he grew concerned. He got there as soon as he could.

Sanjana couldn't help but admire the young handsome guy walking around searching for Manyata.

"What a cute pair they make! I hope he is ready for the news he is about to know," she thought to herself.

She approached him having spotted him a few times with Manyata from a distance. She realized this was Udayveer. Manyata had mentioned him by name a few times as well.

" You must be Udayveer. I did the testing on Manyata this afternoon," Samjana stated.

"Is she all right?," he inquired.

"Relax she was dehydrated but I have started her on fluids. Her diet and fluid intake must be more than adequate from now on. You really need to make sure she is taking care of herself," Sanjana stated.

"I will doctor. Which room is she in?," he inquired.

"She is in 204, second left," she stated.

He thanked her and headed there.

Manyata was laying there with an IV in her arm. The color had started to return to her cheeks. Udayveer sat down beside her and stroked her hair.

She slowly opened her eyes. She smiled seeing him there.

"Udayveer aap kab aaye?," she inquired.

He kissed her forehead.

" I just came. Tell me how are you feeling?," he inquired.

She smiled slightly.

"I have news to share," she stated.

"First you have to promise me you'll take care of yourself. I am not going to let you stay up late anymore. You will eat three meals and two snacks each day. You will follow whatever the doctor tells you, got it!," he declared.

She smiled at him.

"So did they tell you?," she inquired.

"Tell me what?," he inquired puzzled.

"That I am expecting," she stated.

He stared at his wife surprised.

She made him close his mouth.

"Are you happy, you are going to be a father and me a mother," she stated.

He looked at her head to foot. He reached over and placed his hand on her abdomen.

"There is a life we created in there now?," Udayveer inquired with glee.

She nodded.

He leaned over and kissed her forehead again. He stroked her head.

" I am so happy Manyata. But what I said before still stands," he hissed.

She grabbed his hand and squeezed it hard.

Several months passed by. Manyata's abdomen grew. She wasn't insecure too often but when she was, Udayveer would wrap his arms around her and always assure her that he loved her no matter what happened.

She delivered a healthy baby girl. They named her Mansi.

When Mansi was six months old, Manyata took her to the park for some fresh air. Security followed them everywhere. Manyata played with her daughter.

In the distance, Akash approached and was stopped by some guards. He looked past them to see Manyata playing with an infant.

He had traveled far for a chance to meet her. He wondered if she had resisted Udayveer and was still waiting for him. He got his answer when he saw her playing with an infant. He couldn't see the face of the infant but he knew it was her child.

Then suddenly he noticed, Udayveer with a genuine smile approach Manyata and the baby. He took the baby from her arms and wrapped one arm around Manyata. They looked lovingly at the baby together. Udayveer must have noticed him for he gave him a stern look and started to lead his family away from there.

Akash was crestfallen but then again he had been away for three years. He had never asked her to wait for him and she never stopped him from going.
