Chapter 1
After their breathtaking performance ended... arnav just left the hall and went upstairs to his room as he had no idea why had done that... why he just blurted out his inner feelings to the whole world through this dance with khushi... what would people think... what would he say to them... and most importantly.. what would he say to khushi... he knew khushi very well and he knew that she wouldnt just let him get away with what he had done on stage... and what he guessed was absolutely correct... even though they earned a full 10 points for the dance and the guptas had official won the competetion.. khushi was happy... he wasnt satisfied with her victory.. so she went on looking for arnav when she finally found him lost in his thoughts in his own bedroom...
Khushi: Arnav ji... woh hum aapse kuch baat karna chahte the...
Arnav: Kya hua khushi kumari gupta? Tum yahan kaise? Apne jeet aur mere haar ka elaan karne ayeho? Well u listen to me damn it.. (when khushi cut him off)
Khushi: hum aisa kuch bhi karne nahi aye hain... balki hum aapse yeh poonch na chahte the ke humne aapse vaada kiya tha ke agar hum har gaye toh aap jo kahenge hum who karenge.. toh boliye.. hum e kya karna hoga?
Arnav: Kya? Yeh kya keh rahiho tum.. dimaag kharab hain.. oh my bad.. tumhare paas toh dimaag hain hi nahi... tum jite ho khushi kumari gupta... aur mera mazaak banana bandh karo..
Khushi: humari itni hesiyaat hi kahan ke hum aapka mazak uraye... agar aap aaj humare saath dance nahi karte toh hum waise bhi harne hi wale the... aap hi ki vajese jite hum... toh jeet actually aap hi ki hui na?
Arnav: (silent)
Khushi: agar ab koi sazaa aapse socha nahi jaa raha.. toh baadme sochke bata dena... hum apna vaada zaroor puri karenge.. (starts walking away when arnav stops her)
Arnav: khushi kya tum ye nahi poochogi ke maine aaj aisa kyun kiya?
Khushi: aapko yeh dikhana tha ke aap kitne mahaan hain.. aur main waise bhi har jati toh aap ne thoda bohot humdardi dikha diya..
Arnav: What the... tumhe yeh sab humdardi lagi?
Khushi: aur nahi toh kya mr. raizada? Iske ilava toh hum e koi aur vaje nazar aati nahi... lekin aapki jo bhi karan thi.. hum aapse shukriya kehna chahenge..
Arnav: (grabs her by her arm like he always does) tum humesha mujhe itna bura kyun samajtiho.. kya tumne aaj stage pe who mehsoos nahi kiya jo maine kiya? Kya tumhe kabhi meri fikaar nahi dikhti? Kya kabhi yeh dikhai nahi deta ke jab tum mere ya kisibhi vajese roh ti ho toh mujpe kya bittihai... kitna regret karta hoon main damn it!! aur tum! (lets her go.. and turns around facing the other way)
Khushi: (in tears) hum humesha sehi mehsoos karte arahehain.. par aap hi ne kaha tha ke aap ko in sab se koi matlaab nahi.. aur aapko kuch farak nahi parta... toh hum kya samajhte? (suddenly she scream as she feels a sting on her foot)
Arnav: (turns around) kya hua tumhe khushi?
Khushi: (they both look down and see the scorpion)
Arnav: What the... yeh yaha kaise?! Khushi jaldi chalo tumhe hospital le jana parega... this thing is poisonous..
Khushi: nahi arnav ji.. hum e kuch...kuchh.. nahi... (and things started fading away in her eyes and she fainted)
Arnav: KHUSHII!!
