I don't want Mahi to marry a guy who loves another girl...and especially when that girl is Ishu, it will break her heart equally just like Ishu n Sahil and also our hearts...in fact, right now I don't want any of the characters here to get married, there are lot more things that they can show before marriage...

If both the Dadis know that Sahil prefers Ishu, how did they go ahead and fix Mahi's rishta w/ him? Once Ishu marries him, Mahi will look like a rejected girl, and this being a serial, she will have problems finding another guy.

Although I'd be happy if she focusses on being successful in ways other than marriage.

hi i am bellie😊, i don't think Mahi will look like a rejected girl if Sahil marries Ishu instead of her, because it is not as if Sahil is dumping Mahi for Ishu...i mean Sahil and Ishu loves each other, if Sahil loved Mahi and then if he was dumping her for Ishu then yes Mahi would have looked like a rejected girl.

Infact a kinda similar thing happened in one of the earlier episodes, when Mahi's rishta was to be fixed with a guy, and that guy and his family choose Ishu instead of Mahi, and there Mahi looked like a rejected girl, it was openly portrayed by serial-makers (through Mahi herself, her dadi and chachi and that family) that guy liked Ishu because she is more beautiful than Mahi. I believe Mahi was totally and unnecessarily buried in that episode, and it angered me so much lol that first time in my life I joined some forum (i mean this one) and openly ranted😆 about it.

bellie,, u are right that Mahi should not feel rejected if Sahil marries Ishu, since they love each other.

If mahi marries Sahil, at least initially it will be a love less marriage, which will be very painful to Mahi

regarding, the rejection of mahi by another guy, who liked ishu.. i don't think the boy's side said they liked ishu because she is beautiful than mahi.. it is always mahi who says that...

But , I had seen this scenario in movies and serials too..of the boy liking the other sister.. It is so gross 😡 but is not the first time to see it..

yes Sammy you are right, but thats why i said it was portrayed as such. Anyways we should leave that argument aside as it is kinda old, and thanks for your reply, you always provide more insights with your thoughts😛...

In a case had Sahil come to see Mahi but instead liked Ishu more & asked for her hand instead, I can agree that it would have been rather inappropriate, although gross is not the term I'd use to describe it.

But in this case, Sahil already knew Ishu, and chose her, so if anything was inappropriate @ all, it was the dadis trying to fix the rishta w/ Mahi, bringing out Kalindhi's chundri & so on. Instead, they should have told Sahil, 'Okay, we accept your wish to marry Ishu, but both of you will have to wait until Mahi gets married'. That would have been a graceful way to decide this - respect the wishes of both Sahil & Ishu, while ensuring that Mahi gets married first, and finding a groom for her who would prefer her to anyone else.

Anyway, like I said after the leap started, I'd have preferred it if they had either brought 2 guys for the 2 grown-up girls, or alternately, get Ishu hitched to Sahil, while have Mahi happily pursuing an independent career, and let her dadi sweat over her marriage. That way, one can concentrate on Sahishu's romance, while following the twists in Mahi's life.
