We couldn't stop ourselves from wondering at the striking similarity in Sudhir Sharma's newly launched show, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha (NBTNMKK) on Colors and an upcoming one titled Punar Vivah on another channel.
NBTNMKK chronicles the life of a widow with two kids who comes across a 'I-care-two-hoots' guy, a crime reporter by profession and how the opposites attract. Punar Vivah too delves into the dynamics of re-marriage and its trials and tribulations with kids involved. What's amusing is that both the shows are set against the backdrop of Madhya Pradesh. While, Na Bole... is based in Indore and Kunal Karan Kapoor play a rough and tough guy, Punar Vivah is based inBhopal and has Gurmeet Choudhary play a similar character. Both have children playing important characters and are a part of promos as well.
Is the co-incidence too good to be true or is there more that meets the eye? But the rule is, whoever comes first is considered original and in this case Na Bole... has already hit the tube. Which show will garner the TRPs only time will tell.
