So, whatcha watchin'?

They entertain us on the big screen, but what do these actors catch on the small screen? We ask around

Dia Mirza
20 minutes! No, that's not the name of a show; it's the amount of time I spend watching TV. And it's usually before going to bed. Generally I watch Animal Planet, NGC or Discovery. But what fascinates me most are the documentaries on mythologies and ancient cities on the History Channel. I love it when I catch Friends, Oprah Winfrey and Desperate Housewives. I used to watch Rendezvous with Simi Garewal when I was in Hyderabad.

Udita Goswami
My shooting schedules prevent me from watching television regularly. So it's really tough to keep a track of the storyline. And even when I try to catch the repeat telecasts, the timings are changed! I used to love Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin but then I lost track of what was happening and now it seems to have gone off air. Then I started watching Ek Ladki Anjanee Si but the timings of that one changed too. So now I'm waiting for someone to update me on the latest happenings of that show.

Tusshar Kapoor
I used to enjoy Indian Idol and was very happy that Abhijeet Sawant won the contest. However I haven't followed Indian Idol 2. Nach Baliye was interesting too. And then there's this English serial called 24 Hours...

Sonali Kulkarni
Friends used to be one of my favourites. Among Indian serials I enjoyed watching Khichdi, which starred Supriya Pathak. But these days I largely watch Marathi serials like Awghashe Sansar which has (my sister-in-law) Amruta Subhash, and
Adhoori Ek Kahani.

Rahul Bose
The only serial (cereal) I've ever watched is a box of Kellogg's Cornflakes! I haven't watched fiction television for over five years now. I only watch TV for sports and news… more so for sports with television news becoming so unreliable these days. I have perhaps seen just about a couple of episodes of Friends. That's about all the television that I can remember!

Minissha Lamba
Desperate Housewives, Sex and the City and Friends! But my favourite show used to be The Practice. From among the characters on the small screen, I completely adore Gabriel from Desperate Housewives. I also watched the Indian Fear Factor and, I must confess, quite liked it.
