Ahem and love: expectations or not?

Ahem tactically played out Gopi, in not geting her to tell his mum of their plan to bring Jigar and Rashi closer, by giving her the excuse of parent's expectation to see their children happy. His body language and facial expressions reflected an Ahem whose mind was racing with his own agenda. When he looked the other way it shown that he was a man on a mission ensuring his plan will never be jeopardised for anything. He went on further to tell her not to even raise Rashi's hopes as well.

He still needs to work on his guilty look each time he is confronted by his mum - this time his mother was wondering what he was doing staring at Gopi and the pigeon. He needs to remove this feeling in order to move forward comfortably. How will he achieve this?
In his pursuance he has shown that he wanted to please his mum by winning her competition yet it felt that he was getting fed up with this neighbourly banter of challenges. He twice told Gopi lets go and not wait for his mum regardless of her mentioning last year's outcome. He was eager to enjoy his time as he felt their team effort was all that mattered.
Things to point out in Ahem and love today:
1. Lieing Ahem - when Ahem lies he never looks at the person's eye when he speaks rather he looks away.
2. Continues to what to spend time with her - this time letting her to set up the kite.
What do you think?

Hey Swasthi!!
Agree with your points!!
Especially the guilty look!! You're a grown man Ahem come on!!! Although I'm not surprised!! Koki makes me feel guilty for enjoying the GoHem moments!!
Ahem's actions are defintely pointing towards a man in love. And these days he's making all the running. Today it was him calling Gopi towards him and him asking her to help - well by asking her to sit with him.

Agree, today it did appear that he was talking more abt gopi/ahem and not rashi. And got me wondering that is he even bothered abt rashi/jigar or just playing along with Gopi.

Just wondering is it a guilty look or more an embarrased look, like a child caught stealing.

Nice analysis !

Superb Analysis Swasthi. Ahem is growing fonder of Gopi everyday and he is besotted by her simplicity today. However it would be prudent that he listens to her at least where Kokila is concerned because Gopi knows and understands Kokila more than Ahem. He needs to realize that Gopi's intuition with regards to Kokila is usually correct. Then he will be able to enjoy this new found love with ease even around his mother..

Thanks Chika.
Ahem is moving mountains just for Gopi all because of his increasing heartbeat whenever she is around him.
Absolutely, all the credit to Nazim - he continues to inspire us to fall in love with him over and over and over again. Superb acting Nazim!!

My pleasure Nazma ... that's just it ... liberate yourself from Koki - that's the message that should be sent to Ahem.
Agreeably so, he did not want her to sulk with Rashi by standing and holding her hand, he wanted her for himself. He did so by luring her into his web.

Hey Swasthi Excellent as always. It amazes me how you describe his feelings so perfectly

To be honest I was doubting his motives in this whole let's not tell the family about our efforts to get Jigar and Rashi together. I wasn't thinking he is doing this to spend time with Gopi to come to his own conclusion regarding his feelings for Gopi. I was thinking he had another motive, that he wants to hide from her and the family.

But then I came to my senses. I thought since when does he care if Rashi gets upset or not? And the other was the scene next morning when he was watching her with the pigeon. There is no doubt that he wants to get to know her and see where his new found feelings will take him. The side way look he gave her when his mom yelled Gopi's name, his expression at her wish to keep the pigeon told its own story.

He is comfortable asking her for things even when his family is around. She kept her distance, but he invited her to sit with him and even let her get the kite ready for him, it says lot about his changed attitude regarding her ability to do things, and not only do them, but he is sure she will do it perfectly he had no doubt.

Back to his robotic agreement regarding the competition, you could see he is really getting fed up with these petty competition, his expression and the way he his hands moved told it's own story. He hates that every enjoyable moment is turned into a competition which takes the fun out of everything.

Only way for him to overcome his guilt is for him to admit his feelings to himself then everyone else. He shouldn't hide what he is feeling. At the same time it is hard for him to admit even to himself that he has fallen for a girl who he thought was not worthy of him in the past. He needs to overcome these feelings first.

Lets see how he reacts to loosing the competition. Personally I think he will be relieved, because then he can now fly the kite for fun.
