I am trying to understand the character sketch of Kokila. She wanted a dumb bahu who she can control so enter Gopi even if Ahem despises her. So ts shows that more than her sons happiness control is paramount to her.but during the Sanduk track when her own mother pointed out Rashi had a better relation with her hubby she Wanted to do sth about it because she had lost a challenge or was She really concerned ? What was her motivation? Anyway the CVs are showing thatKoki wants Ahem to concentrate on just business and Gopi to take care of the house .this sow that what she wants is just care takers for business and house but does it really bother her about what happens in their relationship.She wants to be a mother to Gopi but does she really understand even her own daughter??? Both her children don't have a properspousal relation aka herself?????? I am tring to understand Kokis character and motivation.she has brought up her children prim and proper but are they happy ??? Is it what they wanted??? Oh just ranting folks .any hel in understanding Koki will be greatly appreciated

i agree with u. it's very difficult to understand her. my POV is she supported gopi till now becoz gopi is her selection. so she never wants to fail in this. she will be always telling ahem that i selected gopi by seeing her good nature, so u will also understand her nature one day, and you will accept her. koki's character is like that she can't accept failure. she never wants her selection to go down. this we have seen in many of the episodes. she always wants gopi to win even if she is competing with her own sister.

but in the education track, koki didn't believe gopi, though gopi told that she didn't copy, koki didn't believe her and immediately she took a decision to stop her education . if koki would have supported her at that time, becoz she knows her DIL wants to study, we would have appreciated her character.

now ahem is understanding gopi's good nature and he is caring for her. but why koki is not happy about this? if ahem accept her, she should be proud, that her son accepted her selection. she also wants that. i don't know why cv's are now making her character like this, i think cv's forgot the nature of koki's character.

cv's are really confusing us . so please cv's make it clear at an early date

sometimes wht i feel is that koki is right making Ahem balance both business n relationship...but now as per current track going on she should give Gohem more space,privacy as the relationship is sort of "bud" n the "flowers" r yet to come

But I think she has selected the best DIL for MM. She is becoming her son's Jaan too ❤️. Well, The moment Kokila saw innocent, simple, uneducated & submissive complaisant girl Gopi, she knew she had found the perfect match for her successful son. She knew Gopi will take a subservient role in their marriage. But Ahem hated her. Her blind obedience & obliging nature which landed Gopi in lot of troubles. but but but...she was absolutely fit DIL for koki. Any other girl would not have been able to work with Koki. In joint families you are not just getting married to the boy, rather dynamics with the whole family has to fit properly. Koki was confident that she'll be able to make a place in Ahem's heart with her blessings.😳 Now that the place is made ...insecurity has kicked in lol Human nature ...ahhh Koki is best exof HMV ( her master's voice 😆

kokila wanted ahem to accept gopi as his wife and have children (but she didnt wanted ahem to fall in love with her ) so that she can have grandchildren 😆 if possible before hetal has 😆...and her expectation was something like ahem agreeing for SR on koki's advice and gopi thanking kokila after SR 🤣 & be her doormat always in order to experience ahem's love 😆... but now she can sense her son is genuinely in love with gopi which she didnt wanted...she wanted to be an integral part in gohem's life 😆 but now they can lead their life independent of kokila's help ,she is scared that gopi might haasil her dikhra and he will ignore his mom 😆...hence this behaviour ...

She chose the perfect bahu for her son, she knows her son, is headstrong and though he thought he was modern, he is not really, he likes to work a lot all the time making money and come straight home. Kokila took care of everything for him, he didn't disagree or show any inclination that he wanted to see to his own needs, he wanted his mother at 27 years old to fix his nada for him, buy his clothes for him arrange his gifts to employees, arrange for his room to be fixed, cook for him...his very homely and doesn't like going anyway, plus he wants everyone to agree to him, without that he will be angry and cause a ruckus...so Kokila chose a girl suitable to handle all Aham's needs and her own needs, arrange puja's, reciting gita, sing prayers, put oil in her hair, massage her legs, embroidery to hankeys/sheets, sewing, arranging the home, you know the homely types.

Now what is happening is Aham is in love and Gopi when she is having a problem is turning to him rather then Kokila and according to her it should happen that way, Kokila and Gopi are at home women problems (like Rashi not getting her husband's love) should be discussed with Kokila, Aham should not be bothered with these activities, his job is going to work and making money.

nafisaa i have a similar opinion about koki

Koki wanted a naive bahu for herself... even though she knew ahem would hate illiterate people she still chose gopi to be her bahu... because gopi is a scared lamb, naive and illiterate (i think koki knows about gopi being uneducated before their marriage)

koki though in the early days scared and punished gopi later on she was very warm and motherly figure to her gopi vahu.. gopi looked upto koki for any thing... even to accept a gift (saree) from ahem she looked at koki for permission... she never went against koki... koki was proud for having gopi as her bahu when compared to hetal who has rashi as her bahu... koki felt a sense of pride that gopi listens to whatever she says and never does anything with out telling to koki... in a way she has her control over gopi ... kinjal and ahem once in a while argue and disagree with kooki..but gopi never does that... so she feels proud of gopi

- now in the present situation koki is obviously worried about ahem neglecting his work and concentrating more on his wife...
- but the main reason for her attitude is gopi is now looking forward to ahem instead of koki

she is insecure about gopi bahu not looking upto her but she is looking upto ahem for comfort...
gopi bahu is not listening when koki tries to say something but she is listening to ahem...
so the insecurity is not that ahem is concentrating more on gopi ... but the insecurity i think is gopi is looking upto ahem more than her
